Depends on how good the new UR is, what specifically it is good at, and what SR ship you're comparing it to. A decent amount probably, once you get skills fully leveled and if you have the gear to take advantage of it.

Enty is comparable to UR CVs in some cases. Saratoga is quite good at mobbing already. Indominatible is better than some UR CVs for some situations, like support fleet. Almost no ships are all around better than every other ship, especially already high end ships. You wouldn't see a huge improvement, but there will be some likely.

Not to brag (really), but I have always stayed below softcaps and am about as active as is possible to be and am at commander level 149. The only thing I don't do is claim oil from mail and sometimes I don't buy oil with event currency. Besides that, I spend everything including the weekly free 4k oil without capping. It is possible, you just need to spend coins wherever you can whenever you can, and sometimes that does mean rerolling cats. I don't have many perfect cats even after spending lots of coins on them, and I save rerolling for when I'm really out of other means to spend coins, so I still have a big sink.

Cognitive awakening is a big sink, but it means you need to constantly be using non level 120 ships. I am out of backline ships to mlb for tech now and have only a handful of others like collab, u, or little ships for that.

I can understand wanting to manage Oil Soft Cap, but trying to manage Coin Soft Cap is about as pleasing as a wet fart

For coins yeah, for oil no. Income from canteen for oil is quite significant.

I will say, trying to gear your entire dock takes a lot of coins. The limitation on that is bp for good gears. I could sink hundreds of thousands of coins on gear lab atm if I needed to. Azur Lane does have a very good balance of coin income to coin sinking so that you can always spend it on something.
