Quick question. Am I reading this right? It looks like it's not worth it to combine skill books to create higher tier books. The tier 2 books give 450 exp, and it takes 4 of them to make a tier 3 book. If I just use the 4 tier 2 books individually, then I'd get 1800 exp, but a tier 3 book only gives me 1500 exp. Just want to make sure I'm looking at the right numbers here lol

How many slots do you have though? At some point you'll easily make more book exp than you can use, so upcrafting is worth it, just not all of it, cuz you may not get enough exp worth of red T3 books, but I don't think I've had to resort to T1 books in forever. Especially since even using a blue T3 for 2h is better than using a red T1 (On a red skill)

Are there any common/easily available SR/Elite CA's which you recommend using instead?

You get fleet tech points by:

1. Collecting the ship (~20%)
2. Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
3. Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.
