The reason it is not letting u use your ships is either hull or stat restriction

Q: How do I get more fleet technology points?
You get fleet tech points by:

1. Collecting the ship (~20%)
2. Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
3. Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.

Tbh, if you don't want to adjust gears or ships, I'd actually just keep Aurora there
Bc then you can use each boss fleet for different armour type
BB fleet: anti-med/heavy
IJN CV fleet: anti-heavy
USS CV fleet: anti-light
Assuming each main boss fleet for each armour type can do the bulk of the damage in one battle, you can clean up with one of the others without having to specifically gear them for the fight
