Detection Level:
If the gauge hasn't been filled, your carriers gains "hidden buff", which is 10% flat AA resistance reduction to enemies (basically they deal more dmg) and they can't be chosen as a valid target (enemies BB won't attack your CV when hidden).
If the gauge has been filled, there will be an exclamation mark (!) displayed to the side of the gauge, and your carriers lose the "hidden buff". They will regain the buff when the gauge level falls below the red line.
The gauge will be slowly filled if spotted by the enemy (both planes and ships) if they crossed the detection line, when they are burning, and when launching an airstrike.

Hey I’m not sure what the format of this fleetmaker designates in terms of positions but I think you just swap ning hai and ping hai position so that the one that doesn’t want main tank position is off tank and vice versa. Yat Sen can still be in the middle

You want to do one (or both) of the following: ensure subs are called as needed for specific mob density spikes, and make sure the battle ends before they run out of oxygen and have to surface

Sometimes that can be at the start of the fight, but usually it'll be for a boss spawn or for a particularly dangerous set of BB mob spawns in w14

Auto-sub just calls them out at the start, so if you're just now getting to use them then you can just let them get called, and pay attention to how long they stay out before coming up etc

One other thing about abyssals
Each one has a different weakness which activates after one fight and increases damage taken from a specific type (shelling, torpedoes or planes). This is always the same for a specific abyssal and can be found on the wiki, so you can do the first fight with a fleet that doesn't take advantage of the weakness (i.e. use your BB fleet first against an enemy weak to planes and vice versa)

MEOWFFICER QUICK GUIDE

What are Meowfficers?
They are companions that you can add up to 2 per fleet (including sub fleets). They buff your fleets with their "skills" and "talents". There are 27 different types of them.

How do I get them?
You get them by opening Cat Boxes in the Cattery. The Cattery can be found under HQ > Cat Lodge. The first Cat Box you buy everyday is free. You can buy up to 14 more per day, with each costing 1500 Gold. It is strongly recommended you do NOT binge on them!

How do I level them?
Just like ships, they gain experience when sortied. They do not cost oil, however their exp gain is dependent on the oil spent by the fleet. They max out at level 30. You can also level them by feeding other meowfficers to them, at about 30% exp loss (20% bonus if identical). Additionally they can gain levels passively through Comf-Forts.

What are talents?
Talents buff a specific ship type or faction. They get 1-3 permanent talents, depending on rarity.. Every 5 levels they gain, they get a Cat Paw which can be used to roll new talents or raise the level of some talents. You can reroll any new talents once every 24h with gold (increases with number of talents).

What are skills?
Skills are unique to each type of Meowfficer. They usually give some stat buff or some perk to the fleet. They get 1 skill initially, and they can get up to 3 skills, each obtained by feeding duplicates (1 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd). The potency of the skills is dependent on their stats which increase through levels.
Do note that the skill stat buffs are mostly inferior to talent stat buffs.
