There is no point to getting them early. Just do your daily build and move on in your life.

You are limited by UR bulin income, and the UR bulin income is very low considering we have permanent URs, rerun URs, and potential new UR ships that will eat into that.
Furthermore, the permanent UR ships, as they are older, are slightly worse than UR ships released more recently.

Do the new War Archives have anything worth farming?

• Mirror Involution D3 drops prints for the High Performance Hydraulic Steering Gear, which is a great defensive auxiliary for cruisers. Its fine to farm it, but you will passively get prints for this through research so returns are limited.
• Dreamwaker's Butterfly has no noteworthy gear.
• Ships from both are alright but nothing special; not worth going for outside collection.
