But his teammates were terrible and they introduced a new penalty system that screwed over lots of people. Lance had genuine top 10 pace tho

I caught on this, yeah Lance actually drove super well he was stuffed over by the previous drivers poor start, spin and slow pace. He had the fun night stint and picked up a couple of blue light infringements. A track limits penalty when he moved off track to avoid a pack of fast cars but didn't re-join correctly as someone has bashed the foam sign.
so he had no clue where the line was so picked up another penalty.
His pace though was actually really good third fasted in the final stint before the gearbox decided to nope it and 8th fastest overall lap.
