there are multiple parts to the dillema

1. if we go v10 in 28, the 50/50 hybrid would only be kept for 2 years= lots of money wasted
2. go for v10 in 26: engine suppliers are already too advanced on the dev of 50/50 hybrid
3. go for v10 in 28 but scrap the 50/50 hybrid and keep the current reg engine for 2 more years= imo the best solution

as much as I like the v10, the problem is that cars will become slower, hybrid is an absolutely amazing tech for acceleration, you don't have a low torque zone during low RPM basically
imo they should go for like a hybrid v8 that revs to 20k RPM, the sound doesn't necessarily come from the v10 but more from the high revs
