Spiked Ultimatamancy - 1% Miss Chance to keep it balanced, deals extra damage when hitting an opponent, deals extra damage when resisted, deals extra damage when hitting for weakness, ignores immunities and deals extra damage when hitting an enemy immune to any element, fully charges all flasks or apex on cast, 75% chance for T. All+, 50% chance for T. All++, 25% chance for T. All+++, Base 50% Crit

Don't forget grants 100% ward absorption for 1 turn
Without fixed miss skills, dex becomes bonkers. Keep in mind that it affects both dodging and hitting
Dex in Orna is like Special in pokemon gen1. Two stats baked into one is not often a balanced mechanic. Orna just has several ways of getting around this, like statuses
If it has several ways of getting around it, then it doesn’t need skills that outright negate any investment into it, especially when basically every class uses them
No but the fixed miss is the most important way of getting around it lol
It would nuke build diversity imo
It’s especially egregious when the class built around dex, dorado, doesn’t have access to second chance, meaning fixed miss skills are just an insta win button in pretty much almost every scenario

Ss is the meta and has fixed miss chance, so yeah no point in building dex
But I wouldn't throw out all the other fixed miss skills because of this. Dex is extremely powerful
And ranger still made it live. Guess I’m saving my spare HoC for now

I think we will probably be back to it at some point in time, but it’s been a big patch, not everything can make it in

My biggest fear is the attack scaling making BeoH the best SS user by far, while still covering their low dex weakness with fixed miss. But we’ll see how things go in live
with the same attack stat, gilga should always do +50% more SS damage than Beo due to the internal warddamage passive
Issue is more the fact that BeoH can stack attack much easier than gilga thanks to hybrid monster

i have every intention of bringing Spiked Shield into the same realm as other skills, but still keeping it a Gilga staple
It always felt that was meant to be balanced by their low dex, but SS ignores that

Again, dorito dodging is way more useful in pve than second chance, so the trade off seems fair to me.
Ss should lose it's fixed miss chance, but realm strikes/magic chakram need to keep it. They are balanced by having very low defense penetration. If we get rid of all fixed miss chance in the game I'm 100% hocing to dorito because it will be busted
I think a bonus to on hit on a number of skills is better than fixed miss
They already added ranger which I think is even a little too much
You lose too much damage as ranger, it's not enough imo
Especially if Crit gets another nerf

Just crazy the fixed miss is better than chakram/rs2 with it's better m1. It should at a minimum be 10% to match or 15% like rs1
Even crazier that gilgas were also calling for flat miss chance be removed all together and it stayed lol

Thats what i was thinking, 180k ward and then stacking atk (or more ward as a defense buffer)
Would make SS builds way less one sided which i greatly appreciate. I always loved spiked shield, but you had one way to go, now i feel you have much more options

That makes sense. Switching my helmet with aaru wraps will get me some -5k def and my ward will also tank. Its a compromise for dmg

If ward consumption is capped at 50k and I’ve got 400k, does that mean my damage won’t start dropping off til I hit 180k threshold ?
If that u should rise more atk after reach cap ward consumption

Running more ward should give me more sustained damage or am I wrong ? If I run way over 180k I should do full damage even after using SS3 consecutively
Your othersouls servants, its fun to fight them, but they are so tanky and do SO much damage

Everything above 180k is now actual defensive ward, that wont reduce your damage if taken. Its really cool, actually

The public transport really is great, it helped me level so much early on, and its also fun to sit in trains and chill. (Most germans will tell you it sucks but thats cause most germans just like to complain, me included)

I think ward loss is based of % remaining ward capped at 50k. Sustained damage should be better til ward loss scales below 50k

Deity is dead. Was 4th on the docket to need addressed and the 1 single change taking a 120% freeline to 100% freeline will kill the whole classes lineage and purpose and mother and children. Buff Diety pls it drastically needs help.
