Wouldn't it be easier to just give Provoke to an existing summon like Golems?
With a higher hp Summon, yes. Golems too waek.
Their HP is Kinda low ngl (off tangent, i need to summon another raid to continue testing xD )
- and this is not the ritual summon the ritual one is 15,278 , and remember that Ritual pets have an all around 50% nerf, it is almost certain it will be 1 tapped
What about a gear that give the summons this skill (like the great meditation/berserk/ etc gear)
Or we return to the rng domain again?

There are followers with the appease skill.
It can do wonders with a summoner!
More points for an optional follower 😉
Gear may be a little limited. Especially Exotics.
it would be a good thing to give to an eventual tower guard summon (who also has supportive spells and pray), we already got the guardian

This was an example. Golem just fits thematically but there are other existing and possible future ones.

The discussion about increased CR rates went on and they still don't warrant a constant usage of HyPa on their own so possible ways to increase it were discovered.
When talking about HyPa as a main dmg pact we noticed that NekroGSh might run into survivability problems due to frequently clearing their field.
Some also feel locked to HyPa.

Suggestions mainly evolved around how to improve HyPa, CR rates and survivability. How to fluently combine BP and HyPa gameplay was another topic.
Stances became a big part as they seem very flexible and able to cover different points of interest.

Can the territory ai use HyPa? Or would that require three summons like bp?
The spell itself requires up to 3 summons on the field.
You can use it with 2 summons but itll do less damage. Dont know if the ai can use it tho
AI in live sever only use BP when there's more summons.
Looks like it's the same as bp, AI only uses it when there are at least 3 summons. So not very useful for pvp defense still

Tbh when thinking about it i had the most fun with NekroGSH when CR summoned multiple.
I was like 'whoa that's pretty nice' seeing summon constantly pop up and be sacced by HyPa was very satisfying.
So if we can reach this state of constant summoning and saccing either by NekroGSHs passive or spells themselves or additional gear/adorns etc. i think it could be a good experience.
Spell like: Corpse Explosion.... More like a Nekro.
How about a New Summon that has low hp but deals dmg To enemies when it dies (also it could have a innate protection chance boost)
So it could work Well with hypa aswell^

I even though about making the HyPa damage an aoe (like the jinn) where the damage splits between the enemies
Or on 3 random enemies
Even maybe collateral damage chance
Like a suicide bomber summon?
HyPa is for dungeons now, better if it's aoe.
Ye those are things that could be added in the future. I doubt we get everything in one update tho.
Suicide bomber summons, corpse explosion, aoe pact, buffed hypa and buffed Charon ritual are the main things I want to see, not all but some atleast

Hi guys. A question, in beta, do you really have immediate access to only 1 celectial adornment of each kind? Or is there a way to duplicate them? Or do I need to get them the good old way and run some towers before testing a complete (ish) build? (Which is fine I guess)
Could be cool if we could duplicate our equipment from our live account..

just to add more, i got my mirror and played around with it and for raids specifically i want to say hydrus pact feels really weak compared to blood pact, im dealing 800k per hydrus pact with full buffs, an optimised setup and a fully adorned celestial quarterstaff for pact damage
some other thoughts, we talked about gear possibly helping with charon ritual rates, but do we have gear that only influeces one specific celestial class? afaik we dont, we have stuff that boost class-line buffs like avidity and collateral damage
Personally i'm not too afraid of it doing too little dmg since those are numbers that can and will easily be adjusted when tested by the broad playerbase if necessary.
First an foremost we need to nail the feeling of the class imo.
If you say CR feels off that's more of a concern to me than raw dmg numbers.
yeah ofc, i just thought that maybe the lack of damage cause of my unascended weak character, but its an issue with my mirror too, but yes charon ritual procs wayy too little imo
No it's not a problem with your mirror. HyPa does as much dmg as a Ultima does on GSH, no blights/weakness , no sigils, standart 40%crit dmg amity.
However baseGS does more dmg under same conditions with Ultima and knocks it out of the park if sigils n blights come into play which tbf GSH could use too.
So all in all it's dmg wise comparable with a standart Ultima and imo in the first place it's the setup and maintaining it that holds HyPa back.
I'll not compare it to BP since adjustments are already announced.

Ye it really gave the quantity feeling. Since the most efficient summons were
- summon dead
- summon ghost
- summon very scary skeleton
It was absolutely fitting.
Besides that might further improve the survivability.
Nekro won 👀
For one, the poll was made way too early - nekro had been out for a couple of minutes
secondly - only about a third of the people voted compared to the last poll
thirdly - it was basically a tie
much like the first poll
All of which to say I don't think it is necessarily the most indicative of results
Yeah i said that as a joke too
i think a beta patch with a couple of buffs to the feel of nekro would make it way more fun than the pet variant
Unfortunately, (per https://www.reddit.com/r/OrnaRPG/comments/1co4gz5/devlog_no1_ornaversary_events_schedule_classlines/), I just don't believe I'll have the time to get a Hydrus version we are proud of ready for the classlines update, and thus will be delaying this effort.
Thanks for all of your help and feedback thus far, folks. We'll be seeing the Hydrus version return to its previous form in the beta client as we get ready to go live with all changes.
