To begin with, the quote’s importance to me is how unthinkable it is to a fresh mind. As I grew up I slowly figured out what I read in books wasn’t what the world reflected. It takes a mind who has already been betrayed or has seen someone who was betrayed before to wake up to this new mindset. I can relate to this quote in my life through a past experience. While during the summer, I found myself sitting on my computer playing games and I found a game called Among Us. Among Us is an indie game that tests your knowledge of being a detective or being a sneaky imposter. In the final vote to find who the imposter is I believe my friend who has been following me this whole time. With my vote being cast I vote for the obvious answer, the one other person. As the screen changes, I see my trust has been destroyed and I find myself dazzled by my friend who has been using me as a cover to protect him from losing.
