one is the difference in tone at the end. VH ends with a very heroic-sounding theme, while Revenged ends with a very bleak, somber theme

the main reason I argue R is more tragic is because of its very bleak ending. VH ends with Henry saluting his fallen friend, but still alive to tell the tale and honor charles' legacy.
R ends with basically the entire toppat clan destroyed, and henry dying alone in the forest nearby with no one to remember him
