With only 1 GA, we keep shield seeing off so that the Angel doesn't feel useless and can get some successful shields. Otherwise imp just isn't going to bother attacking a shielded crewmate, and the lone GA doesn't get that satisfaction.

If ever doing more than 1 GA, I can understand having shield visuals on though. Glad that's a setting.

Satisfaction does not come from seeing the shield break animation. It comes from being disruptive to imps.

Imps seeing shield and having to work around it is enough. It also enables imps to coordinate double killing on the shield which is actually almost a drawback because of the halfed kill cd refund

I play with all roles on, but the stronger they are the rarer/more nerfed they are.

And the couts are misleading. Roles set to 3x but are more likely going to show up at 0 or 1 per game because of low odds. I firmly believe in having a high enough max count to allow imps to false claim a role without crewmates going "No, I'M the [role]!"

Engineer settings with low duration and CD is a speedy fella that moves around fast. Best for tasking and zooming to bodies.
Engineer settings with long duration and CD is a camper who chooses a ventline to stay in for a while, then leave and be a normal crewmate for a bit.

So long as there's enough of them for imp to claim engineer without "NOOOO BUT I'M THE ENGINEER!!!"

And vents greatly expand imp's mobility, so making venting not an immidiate accusation, but just another point of information to watch, is a huge boon for imps.

Engineer is nice just for convenience of traveling quicker. Tracker I don’t like mostly cause I’ve never really been able to do anything cool with it. I think I’ve maybe caught someone once and even then when I tried to expose them nobody wanted to listen to my story

Noisemaker literally only does anything once you’re dead which makes it my least favorite role cause I don’t really know what it does that’s particularly helpful

Like I get it lets everyone know someone just died but, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything good come of that

I find the most useful way to play Nisemaker is one of two ways:

Out of the gates RECKLESS. Go places you'd never go r1 and hope to die. Speedrun your tasks without a care in the world. Your death will cause a crowd and might catch the imp.

Cautious survival until mid-endgame, THEN go reckless as possible trying to die. Lower numbers makes hiding bodies easier, but not a noisemaker.

reminds me of a round I played yesterday where they would not listen to me and were skeptical of what I had to say from my first sentence (mind you, I didn't do anything suspicious and this was a noisemaker kill, so common sense), and after two meetings, they still would not vote out the impostor I caught. they left the game.

so then, someone else catches an impostor with the same magnitude of proof on 5 with 2 and the rest of the lobby immediately goes with that person. a new bug is rampant in which people that try to report bodies not killed by viper are being kicked from the game, which is most likely related to the viper and how reporting functions in the game in some way

Even with votes still anonymous they can still vote for the impostor every time and others could potentially get the hint that like, the same person keeps getting voted, it might be our revived buddy trying to tell us something
And it also brings someone back into the game with a hard clear alibi which I think generally people like to avoid hard clears as much as possible

you can intentionally make it happen, its when the host is a mobile/tablet player, the connection isnt very stable and freezes everyone except host if someone disconnects. I tested it by hosting with my phone, connecting with my pc, then quitting on my pc when game starts

that's possibly not cheats. there is a glitch right now that glitch bans you from a lobby if you try to report a body. it is MOST affecting mobile users trying to report viper kills, but it hits everyone... so all the people who got banned trying to report that body probably got banned by that glitch

If you are playing on Skeld you cannot run the Viper's default 15s decay time. Doors are a guaranteed delay of about 10 seconds which means crew only has 5 seconds to find the body before it is gone.

Scientist is more than catching impostor... in fact scientist has a better job of verifying who is clear.. if you see a death happen you look around to see who is around you.

Example... you are in navigation and you look at the display and see a body go dead. Immediately roam around to see who is in your area... at the next meeting you compare where the body is found. If body was found in security then you know the others around you are clear.

If body is in storage, you try to remember if you saw anyone running up from shields and they might be sus.

Homever frames are basically f/ps (frames per second) and i think you can check it either on the license of the phone or on internet (basically how smooth the game runs)
