Viper's serious downside is that he is unable to kill. He must acid. Any kill that gets found that a viper produced by the very nature of viper is recent and crew even learns roughly how recent.

Viper's upside is pretty good until crew realizes it is a Viper game.

Some players have already developed a habit of staring at admin when a body has dropped to see if a lingering marker dissapears.

Vipers have to kill off admin to stay sneaky because of this which limits their options.

Viper makes for an excellent second imp until endgame.

The new detective roll is too difficult to play with when no one answers questions and ignores you. The viper is a one hit pony with no medals. Uninteresting and boring. you don't get that same thing with Polus because crew have more control over the sabotages and the cameras are selective, meaning that although they're on, you have the potential to not be spied on which gives you more leeway.

a lack of vent animations isn't a pro for me, but in the case of Skeld, the way it is structured makes vent animations a huge problem. it's way easier to tell where someone has gone on Skeld than it is on Mira HQ, wherein all the vents are connected and anyone could end up anywhere regardless of the vent animations

oh yes. very crew sided. it is very small. and almost all hallway. having visuals off and lower vision tends to help a bit. but it's still challenging

polus is pretty balanced... tipped toward imp. airship is very imp sided. and fungle even moreso mostly... altho that scope that cannot be stopped by comms is a bit of a pain

mira is the wildcard. VERY imp sided with inexperienced crew... but VERY crew sided when you have smart observant people who know how to use admin/logs

i don't mind playing on mira, but i hate imping on mira. i very very rarely do it well.

Looking back at this, I might have an idea on what is causing the ban timer to be so long. The game fails to load, and therefore hasn't been able to send proper packets to the server, thus when leaving the lobby it has no info on how many times you have left and for whatever reason just assumes it should punish you.

Skeld only feels “crew-sided” because people insist on cramming 15 players in at 2x speed with full vision and then act surprised when cams and vent directions make impostors miserable. if you actually want it to play well, you drop the count back to 10-11, cut speed to 1x, slash vision down, and “suddenly” the map works again. same goes with Polus, it feels fair because the bigger layout and selective cams force both sides to plan their movements & sabotages.

as for MIRA HQ, it flips depending on HOW disciplined the lobby is…
the doorlogs and admin either make crewmates gods or do NOTHING if no one's checking them, and vents either let impostors disappear or make them obvious depending on how they're used. that is why I run very specific settings per map and don't just copy a YouTube list.
the “map balance” everyone argues about is mostly just people mismatching settings and player counts to the space they're in.

on next round, red uses interrogate against white and it says to them that white truly was in reactor though they killed me in electrical

If the detective interrogates a shapeshifter they will get the disguise's color but the shapeshifter's location added to their notes.

This is the only way detective can see false information from their interrogate mechanic.

Skeld MIRA and Polus were designed for 10 players.

Airship was the first map where a player expansion was coming so it was designed with 15 players in mind.

The option to have more playerss for the original maps exists but don't expect a balanced game.

If this is for age verfication, there should've been a popup to send an email for guardian verification, but if they were unable to do so, they need to contact KidsWebServices and inquire their team for some support.

If you're talking about account binding in general, among us auto creates and binds accounts to the respective platform. If you launch on android, you will automatically have an account with google play under your google email pretty much, no binding required. The only time you'd need to expand this is through account merging.

Yeah, that's just how it is. Bad hosts aren't a settings or gameplay thing, it's purely a people problem. You can't "patch out" someone being petty or unfair. The only probable solution to your case is to just create your own lobby and hope for the best.

CREW ROLES
Poltergeist - A dead crewmate who can still help fix sabotages. Can also still see their visual tasks.
Spy - A crewmate who can watch cameras from anywhere on the map, but the light doesn’t blink when they’re on cams.

IMP. ROLES
Ninja/Sneak - Opposite of Spy, can take out cameras for 10 seconds at a time. Even takes out cams for Spy.

Halloween Themed Roles:
(imp) Witch - can use a potion on a crewmate to kill them. Causes bubbling effect on witch for 5 seconds.
(crew) Wizard - Can cast a protection spell on any crew from anywhere on the map. Gets notified if their spell is broken.

Other Suggestions:

1. Chat/Dms in game to be able to message randoms you add. Helps inviting each other easier.
2. Online/Offline dots on friends names.
3. Monthly votes in the Discord. Members can vote monthly on a new cosmic cube or cosmetic or feature to be added to the game. Makes the community feel engaged and the game feel fresh.
4. 2x Bean weekends
5. Maybe a Treasure hunt? Find certain clues on each map to get a code (different for everyone) and earn a secret cosmic cube or cosmetic.

Poltergeist doesn't sound too bad of a concept. The visual task thing is useless in Skeld and Polus to some degree, and completely useless in experienced lobbies.

Spy is just broken.
