it wasn't actually a sabotage win, it was way dumber than this. what actually happened was that I put sus on the impostor that remained, everyone forgot, but managed to find the second impostor instead. after that, no one called meetings after realizing that all of them were clear except the last impostor, and when reactor was about to cave in, the one person we were protecting never realized that the impostor was trying to kill them. they died at the very last second

that's literally my biggest gripe with both roles. viper is completely unable to be countered with shapeshifter claims because of the new kill animation, and the detective interrogates everyone regardless of if they are shifted.

as for killing them, it's pretty hard to do that when there are multiple detectives. yes, it's easy to determine when someone is tracking or interrogating, but there should be fairer ways to counter either role beyond just… killing the person. these roles are both overpowered and underpowered in all the wrong ways

There are many fan-made maps that exist beyond submerged as well, but in regards to your point, you should not be considering fan made maps as “in the game”

The detective does not see through he disguise and see who the SS really is and gets SS's location.
The detective does not get the disguise's location either.

The detective gets the disguise's info but sees the SS's location.

This is actually SO GOOD. (Even though this scenario will literally never come up in a real game)

Example since it's probably not clear: Lets say that Red is shapeshifter and gets a kill in O2. At the same time Green is in reactor. The body gets reported and Blue, the detective, gets a case open for the body that was killed.

In the round red shapeshifts into Green and the detective checks the shapeshifter. The results that the detective sees is that Green was in 02.

That's not the traditional interaction SS has with crew roles that target players. Tracker just learns that you aren't what you appear to be.

They track the SS and check their map and see the track icon is Red and not Green.

Maybe it's because the tracker puts down a tracking device on the person and when that person Shapeshifts the device shows the color they were before and if the trackers walks past them they can find the impostor
