Hi guys, I’m trying to play among us on my Mac using whisky to run steam but there’s this weird problem where when I’m running around in a map, sometimes the vision gets really weird and like half of the places I should be able to see are greyed out, as if I was playing with less vision. when I left after realizing—I was crew—the game timed me out for eleven minutes despite this being my only game in this particular session

y'know? Among Us could combat intentional disconnecting by having role drafting like in Endless Host Roles

if people are more likely to get the role they want, they probably won't leave immediately and find roles they'll settle for instead

i usually start the match by faking tasks that require multiple steps like the anomaly task in medbay or wire tasks , these are ideal to fake because even if someone is watching they won’t get suspicious right away if the task bar doesn’t go up since those tasks are long and segmented ,
i almost always get the shapeshifter role and i use it strategically : as soon as a body is found i try to take control of the conversation saying things like : “blue is safe” or “orange did trash, he’s clear” that way i gain the crew’s trust early and keep them as social shields later in the game if i ever get suspicious. If i notice that someone is becoming suspicious of an innocent player, i shapeshift into that person, kill in front of a witness and let the witness report the body , this usually leads to the innocent being ejected while I stay under the radar , i often tend to stick with groups so when I sabotage the group often splits up giving me a perfect window to isolate and kill someone , one powerful tactic I recommend is leading the conversation and consistently vouching for players, saying things like “he’s safe” That earns you a lot of credibility and makes it easier to control the vote , not every game played out exactly like that, but that’s generally how it goes. In one game for example my impostor teammates didn’t even land a single kill i did them all myself while defending them as safe just in case i got accused, apparently i did a great job directing the chat and framing the narrative in

relevant settings : 1 imp 10 players 0.75x crew vis 1.25x imp vis all roles on visual tasks off confirm ejects off anonymous votes on/off (depends)

i just play like i would as a crewmate but i manipulate info. i tend to tell pieces of the truth, but avoid saying anything that could sus me (unless its a light sus- thats fine). when i lie, its usually directly a part of the strategy (e.g. killing and saying i saw someone who i KNOW was with other people running from the body to make them think its a shapeshifter while im actually phantom- and soft clearing myself in most minds, since if i saw a shapeshifter then it cant be me!)

you just kinda gotta have responses that would seem normal

i never said majority are 110, what i said was, the ones people favor are usually the highest priced, which makes room for the argument that it should be lowered, if the pricing for the stars cost the same amount as the cube in itself. smiles.

i would say the most logical pricing system is if we use 110 for 25 as a benchmark (seems reasonable), then you just do 110/25 as price/reward, so you take the amount of things in the bundle and multiply it by 4.4
