Today we are excited to announce another emoji submission contest. We are looking for some new emojis from our great artists in the community!

Winners will be chosen by the event team and every winning emoji will have been tested for quality before being announced. The winning emojis will be posted in this channel with one last server wide mention.
When posting your submissions, make sure the lineart is clean and the background transparent. Sketches and uncolored submissions are not acceptable. Emojis must also be under 256kb in size. For best results, make sure your image is at least 128 x 128 pixels. They’ll be resized to 32 x 32 pixels once uploaded. Make sure they're easy to see at that size. It also must be original IDV fan content only.

No edits of official artworks

What Is A Community Helper?

Community Helpers play a key role in keeping the server welcoming, active, and supportive. Your main responsibility is to assist fellow members with the following: answering questions in #➤┃player-to-player-support, guiding newcomers, or simply being a friendly presence in chat.

While you won’t be handling moderation or rule enforcement directly, you should be comfortable flagging any issues to the Moderators and working together when needed. Most importantly, you should enjoy being part of the community and have a genuine interest in helping it grow and thrive.

What is a Discord Moderator?

Discord Moderators are in charge of moderating the server and making sure everything is running smoothly in the channels. Your main responsibility is to enforce server rules, address disruptive behaviour, and step in when conflicts arise. It is important that you can remain calm and fair under stressful situations.

Beyond moderation, you’ll also play a part in supporting community engagement. This includes helping to answer questions, guiding new members and interacting in the chats. You’ll work closely with Community Staff to handle reports, discuss server changes, and improve the overall server experience.

• Knowing English is a must and we warmly welcome players who speak other languages.
• We are looking for staff that can **commit a suitable and consistent level of activity. **

Current Status

• Invites are temporarily on hold.
• The words “yuri” and “yaoi” are currently blacklisted in server messages and nicknames.
• This is due to ongoing trolling, with users repeatedly changing their names to variations of those terms.
• These restrictions will be lifted once the trolling subsides.

**Clarifications **

• Regarding the use of “yuri” or “yaoi,” this wasn’t a decision we made lightly, nor is it rooted in any bias against the LGBTQ+ community. We fully support representation and safe spaces.
• However, in our server, these terms have consistently been misused in NSFW contexts.
• Our top priority is ensuring an appropriate environment for younger members. While the words themselves are not inherently inappropriate, the repeated misuse in this space has made it necessary to restrict them for now.
• This isn’t about erasing or silencing anyone’s identity. We’re responding to how certain terms are weaponized or sexualized in this particular setting, just as we would with any label or phrase under similar circumstances.

Clarification & Updated Moderation Stance

• Since the trolling has subsided, invite links are open again and auto mod for "yuri" and "yaoi" have been lifted.

• The terms "yuri" and "yaoi" were initially disallowed in the server due to previous misuse in suggestive contexts. As mentioned before, we are a 13+ server, and we wish to accommodate to our younger users.

• However, thanks to your feedback, we understand that this is not how some members see these terms or intend to use them. As such, these terms will now be allowed in guild tags, messages, and media, but will be monitored on a case-by-case basis, similar to other ambiguous terms like “freaky” or “daddy.”

• We aim to be as open as possible with language, but we will continue to draw a clear line when any term, regardless of what it is, is used in a blatantly suggestive or inappropriate context, in order to protect our younger members. This is our original stance and will continue to be so.

• We want to ensure members that this server is a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ members. We celebrate diversity, and any form of discrimination or disrespect will not be tolerated.

To uphold the principles of fairness in the Identity V Call of the Abyss IX (COA IX) tournament, the Tournament Organizing Committee has recently conducted a comprehensive review of team points across all divisions.

Upon verification, it has been confirmed that certain team members engaged in prohibited account sharing (boosting/ringing) during the preliminary. In accordance with relevant tournament regulations, the Organizing Committee has decided to enforce the following penalties:

I. Point Correction
The violations have been addressed retroactively. Matches involving the violations are declared void. All points contributed by the involved players have been deducted, and the total team points have been recalculated.

II. List Adjustment
Based on the revised point rankings, there have been changes to the standings in certain divisions. The adjusted list for the [NA-EU Division] & [SEA Division] is hereby announced as follows:

What Is A Community Helper?

Community Helpers play a key role in keeping the server welcoming, active, and supportive. Your main responsibility is to assist members with the following: answering questions in #➤┃player-to-player-support, guiding newcomers, helping moderators, or simply being a friendly presence in chat.

While you won’t be handling moderation or rule enforcement directly, you should be comfortable flagging any issues to the Moderators and working together when needed. Most importantly, you should enjoy being part of the community and have a genuine interest in helping it grow and thrive.

What is a Discord Moderator?

Discord Moderators are in charge of moderating the server and making sure everything is running smoothly in the server channels. Your main responsibility is to enforce server rules, address disruptive behaviour, and step in when conflicts arise. It is important that you can remain calm and fair/unbiased under stressful situations.

Beyond moderation, you’ll also play a part in supporting community engagement. This includes helping to answer questions and tickets, guiding new members, and interacting in the chats. You’ll work closely with Community Staff to handle reports, discuss server changes, and improve the overall server experience.

✅ Requirements

• English is a must and we look closer at players who speak other languages.
• We are looking for staff that can **commit a required and consistent level of activity. **
• Discord Moderator & Community Helper Applicants must be 18 years or older in order to be considered. There are serious consequences if you attempt to falsify your actual age.

CORRECTION - Many people have pointed out to me that this scam isn't a "discord exploit". It was the wrong word choice and I'm sorry for this misinformation. Also many people aren't aware that these dms aren't from strangers, they are sent to friends of already breached accounts.

Today we are excited to announce our first ever emoji submission contest. With 226 animated and 177 regular emoji slots available we want to fill some in with your creativity!

Winners will be chosen by the event team and every winning emoji will have been tested for quality before being announced. The winning emojis will be posted in this channel with one last server wide mention.
When posting your submissions make sure the lineart is clean and the background transparent. Sketches and uncolored submissions are not acceptable. Emojis must also be under 256kb in size. For best results, make sure your image is at least 128 x 128 pixels. They’ll be resized to 32 x 32 pixels once uploaded. Make sure they're easy to see at that size. It also must be original IDV fan content only.

Dear Detectives,

The #878541595631304754 is once again active! It has been alphabetized for better viewing and all roles should be up and working again as they have all been tested.

On mobile devices you may be rate limited and it will cause your reaction to fail. Wait a few seconds in between each role. As well if you already have a pre-existing role you do not need to click the reaction again as this will delete the emoji. You will have to disable and re-enable it to add it again.

As you all know, there is now a sudden increase of irls in the server, it may be very questionable, nevertheless, please be reminded not to unnecessarily give nor call these people inappropriate names because it is in no way respectful. Some irls are diagnosed with DID and/or have schizophrenia/psychotic disorders, so it may be very harmful to them. If you don’t know, an irl is someone who says they are a character in real life and oftentimes can’t separate from that, meanwhile, fictives are introjects based off of one character, please be aware.

As for the irls, please be reminded that the server rules still apply to you as well, this means that rude behavior, toxicity, ship talk and forcing opinions on others are still punishable as stated in the rules.

Recently it has come to our attention that an influx of harassment that is specifically directed towards people who are IRLs or systems, and for the sake of these people, we created this announcement.

A lot of the ignorant comments made have been out of a lack of education or knowledge on the subject, which is what this announcement strives to provide.

What is an IRL? What is a fictive?
IRLs are people that experience psychosis and delusions.
(Don't open if you are sensitive to reality-checking) ||One of these delusions can sometimes be that they are a fictional character in real life, or, more accurately, the fictional character has been based off of them and put into media.|| Whether you believe that it is harmful to encourage this or not, it is even more harmful to tell an IRL that they are not [ Insert Character ], because that can cause them to question their reality.

Fictives are individuals who are apart of DID or OSDD systems. A system is a group of people residing in one body caused by continued trauma when the body was younger. There are many roles within systems, one of which being 'fictives'. These individuals are based off of characters in media.

We ask you fellow members to not harass them when they haven’t even harassed you.

Hello detectives,

Recently there has been an increase of concern for the use of our banned words in the discord server. Many have considered our reasoning behind banning these words as acts of racism, homophobia, and disrespect. One word that has brought up a lot of conflict and concern is “whitewash”. To clear up some misinformation, the reason behind majority of our banned words like “whitewash” is not because we’re biased, but because we want to eliminate arguments and conflict about racism in the server, and to keep the server a peaceful and safe place.
