Welcome! Please feel welcome to share your Identity V experiences and ideas with others. Our goal is to provide a safe space for all players to discuss about Identity V, including but not limited to updates, news, events, etc.
The community thrives when members treat each other with respect and courtesy, so let’s work together to keep it welcoming and inclusive.

Obliviousness to the rules will not be accepted as an excuse. The issuance of a warning is not limited to breaking our server rules. Therefore, do not bring up any questionable topics even if they are not listed down below as inappropriate.```
** The server rules are inclusive of those outlined below, but not limited to:**Rule 1: Be Mindful of the Server's 13+ Demographic 
❖- 1 Refrain from engaging in sensitive or personal topics. Politics, religion, personal information (ie. personal identifiers, address, age), discussions of sexual topics, medical details, drugs / drug usage, violence or trauma, world events, etc... This includes avoiding sharing petitions or activist-related content.
❖- 2 We have a strict no-NSFW (Not Safe for Work) Tolerance policy. This includes but is not limited to: Profile pictures, nicknames, links, guild tags, messages/conversations, media, emotes, and quotes from NSFW sources. Ambiguous terms (eg. “freaky”) are allowed but will be closely monitored — if used suggestively, they may be removed and can result in warnings or bans depending on severity.
❖- 3 Be polite. Mild cussing is fine if not directed at others, but severe expletives, death threats, slurs, or homophobic remarks — even as jokes — are not allowed. Reclaiming slurs is also prohibited.
Rule 2: Be Respectful of Others 
❖- 1 Be mature. Avoid fights, trolling, toxicity, ragebaiting/provoking and do not enforce your opinions upon others. This includes accusing others of bad taste due to a disagreement, race, gender, or in-game content. Take these discussions elsewhere if they cause discomfort.
❖- 2 Any form of witch-hunting or harassment is not allowed, whether in the server or using the server to do so privately.
Witch-hunting includes: Spreading misinformation, gossip, rumours, or anything with ill intent to harm another person. In-game content should include censoring of names, especially if the post was meant to criticize players.
Harassment includes: Degrading comments, racist remarks or slurs targeted towards a user, inappropriate comments, discrediting or spreading rumours, mass or ghost pinging any server member for ill intent, etc.

❖- 3 Any unoriginal media should contain a link to the original source or creator’s channel. Remove the post if you are unable to provide the proper credits. Any form of AI content is not allowed in the server.
Rule 3: Keep the Server Accessible for Everyone 
❖- 1 No flashing or strobe emojis, profile pictures, or gifs can be posted within the server. This poses a health risk to users with epilepsy or similar disorders. Use the spoiler filter and a content warning on fast-moving/blinking images that can cause eye strain, headaches, etc.
❖- 2 Be aware of our text regulations. Symbols are allowed, but nicknames must include letters (no blank or symbol-only names). Fonts are not allowed to ensure comfort for those who use accessibility services or have reading disabilities such as dyslexia.
❖- 3 Content that may trigger or frighten members should include a spoiler filter and a warning. This includes minor triggers such as blood, weapons, spiders, guns, trypophobia, or other common phobias. Avoid posting jumpscare videos, as they can affect members with heart conditions or those uncomfortable with such content.
Rule 4: Use Channels for Their Intended Purposes 
❖- 1 Refer to pins in all channels. They are channel specific add-ons to rules.
❖- 2 No spamming is allowed within the server. This includes sending many messages at one time, excessive emojis or capitalization, repeated text, copypastas, images, links, or spamming multiple server members / staff roles.
❖- 3 Do not evade chat filters. This includes censor evasion, excessive usage of reactions, or editing messages to avoid slow mode. You are subject to being muted for any of the above.
❖- 4 Our discord server primarily uses English to communicate. You may use snippets of other languages like Hello, Thank you etc. However, full length discussions in another language should be limited to the respective channels.
Rule 5: Do not Advertise Outside of Allocated Spaces

❖- 2 Posting giveaways, gifts, server invites, etc. may result in a ban. This includes rewards in exchange for participation in unofficial tournaments.
❖- 3 Any form of begging is not allowed within this server. This includes: begging for in-game skins, skin-share, gifts or account recharging. Additionally, refrain from asking for server staff positions and instead wait for our applications to open.
Rule 6: Do not Partake in Illegal or TOS-Breaking Activities 
❖- 1 Impersonation, especially that of IDV Discord or NetEase staff, is not allowed.
❖- 2 Discussion and distribution of leaked or modified content is prohibited. Please report to us if you notice such behaviour.
❖- 3 Attempting to buy, sell, or trade your in-game account is against NetEase ToS. Server staff will not be dealing with any issues that occur. You do so at your own risk.
❖- 4 Participation in illegal activity will result in a ban. This includes, but is not limited to: doxxing, blackmailing, or engagement in illegal relations of any sort.
❖- 5 Be cautious of links sent by others. Many recent hacks stem from malicious links. Do not trust other links unless sent from an active, trusted friend or Official Server Staff.
Please be aware of Discord and NetEase guidelines and ToS as violation of these regulations may be deemed as an offence.
Rule 7: Respect Staff and Server Procedure 
❖- 1 Be aware and cooperative. Contact a moderator if you sense an incoming argument and let us handle the situation. Do not attempt to take matters into your own hands! The staff team exists to assist you and maintain order. As such, we request your full cooperation.
❖- 2 Attempts to circumvent the rules will result in the following punishments: warnings, mutes, bans. These punishments are issued according to offence severity and prior history. Accumulation of 5 warnings will result in a ban. For severe violations, a ban can be distributed regardless of warning history.
❖- 3 Any attempts at avoiding punishment (ie. creating an alt, leaving the server) are forbidden. They will result in additional punishment, and possibly a ban.
❖- 4 Do not discuss Moderator actions in public channels. For clarifications or appeals, please contact <@&441985069771390997> or <@&441985073282285578> privately. Provide relevant details when appealing — cases will be reviewed individually, and outcomes will be decided accordingly.
❖- 5 Rules are enforced by Discord staff members and are subjected to change at any time by discretion of the Administrator. By joining the server, we expect you to acknowledge and abide by our guidelines. Therefore the staff has the right to remove individuals that are deemed unsuitable to remain in the server for valid purposes.
