You pick an artifact and do a run of a rift/lab style mode, when you beat enemies they drop a stat upgrade. At the end of the run, you pick the best 7 stat upgrades to put on the artifact. Totems increase the chance of finding higher tier stats.

It's a good item for supports who already have an in built cheat death. flight is wasted on them anyway since cheat deaths mostly overlap, and those supports will have a good chance of living 6 seconds to activate vault. Solise, merlin, luci all have in built cheat deaths. Any support behind shem (like ivan or bert). 1lene. Bert if he's with luci. Supports that partner with rem (like saf).

That leaves behind palmer, Joan, Silas, rowan, raine, haelus, ezizh. So half the meta supports already have cheat death abilities or partner with a teammate who gives it to them. Heroes who will explode before 6 seconds pass will naturally prefer flight as vault does not do anything if youre dead before it activates.

Incidentally any support that goes on remfiya (i.e. joan) will not be able to use either collection effectively, as saf shuts down vault and rem makes flight redundant
