I’ve read the Noob guide to try and get the best possible start.

Firstly, the guide told me to share the game so that I could obtain Wukong. Is that still possible, and if yes, how can I do it?

Btw. because many ppl just critisize on companions, I'll do another thing and compliment you:

Duo:
The duo system is really nice early on and really lovely - makes fun - helps lots of people out - would be lovely if it'd be less punishing tho having a weaker duo.

Divinity:
The simplified furniture and engraving as divinity - great, just makes it way less troublesome and I love it. Now you have a reason to a5 heroes and dont just stop randomly at a1, aswell as you dont have to worry about two other different skill trees.

Design:
Much smoother and nice looking. Really good.

Resources: Small critique because resource generation modes are missing - F2P players feel really far left out compared to whales with little way to get heroes before they become obsolete.
But a big but: The way you unlock wokes like aSolise in the Libary really feels rewarding for doing a collection and is really nice.

The updated auto-battle has some flaws that weren't in the old auto-battle.

• i cannot start auto-battle for the specific boss teams (e.g. from the 5th) to test formations. As you should know battles may take 20-40-100 retries in the campaign and towers.

Why was it changed? There is no point for that. Could you please introduce it back? I saw complaints on the reddit from other people

• why stopping auto-battle discards current battle result? Old auto-battle kept the current (running) battle match. So why removing it?

• does auto-battle works when the app is minimized (on android)? Meaning - i switch to another app or switch off screen AND the game runs battles in the background.

• does the auto-battle allow to fight in other modes (e.g. i run auto in the campaign, meanwhile i go to 4F towers and do the fighting there at the same time)?

I am playing AFK Arena companions in Region 15 (Server 144). Gamemodes like Arena are against other servers older than mine.
I think the people on the servers become in my region have an advantage, that they had the chance to get Shalltear, Ains awl Gown etc, an event which ended before my server started.
Will there be a catchup for newer servers to enable them to get the same heroes, wich other servers once got?
Currently, this seems to be an advantage I can’t cross, even if I pay into the game and it leaves a bitter feeling for me.

Are there any reasons for or against implementing a catchup, so all servers have the chance to get all champions?

Bad update for NC. You guys said update regions to reduce competition and increase player experience.

All you did was split r8 and created r9, making r8 and r9 the easiest region and leaving all the other regions the same.

Failed anniversary, not giving us proper HBD swap and now another failed nc update, not actually splitting regions that matter the most.

No wonder why players are quitting in masses, along with failing afk arena subreddit.

R8 And R9 are not the easiest compared to time/money its exactly the same as any other Region. F2ps and not as competitive players are struggling to score high same as any other are Region. The Hb swap was very proper exactly what the community asked for “fix a mistake, get rid of the dgwyn”. In fact its arguably much worse for players that decided to hold and wait before donkey pulling dgwyn but it is what it is, after all we can’t have everyone happy.
Everyone is free to leave whenever they pleases, hit that button and be gone.

• Golden Frontier imo is nice and enjoyable event with great rewards and I like the competitive pace between militias fighting one another.

They could’ve satisfied most players by allowing Hildwin and Kaelon to be swappable, and arguably Elthara given she fell in 2025. The discussion was never about broad swaps, it was centered on HBD and Hildwin. Expanding Gwyn alone misses what players were actually asking for.

The bigger issue is the NC update messaging. Saying you’re “reducing competition and improving player experience” sets a clear expectation. What we got instead was essentially an expansion with R9, something that was likely happening anyway because R8 was already at capacity. That’s not reducing competition, it’s reframing a technical necessity as a player focused improvement and expecting credit for it.

If transparency was the goal, the announcement should have simply stated that R8 was being expanded or restructured. Instead, expectations were set for meaningful competitive balance, especially in harder regions like R2, R4, and R8, and that didn’t happen. At the same time, regions like R1 and R5 remain significantly easier, which only highlights the lack of consistency.

Imbalance also isn’t isolated to R8. Regions R1 through R7 are not balanced either, so focusing messaging around competition without addressing the broader issue just reinforces the disconnect.

Golden Frontier follows the same pattern. Instead of refining core systems players already engage with, resources continue to be pushed into a mode that has received largely negative feedback. It comes across less as innovation and more as forced adoption.

There’s also a clear trend that systems are introduced, pushed heavily, adjusted just enough to maintain engagement, and then left behind. Mythic Starzone is a good example, and Golden Frontier is starting to feel like it’s heading in the same direction.

The upcoming Golden Frontier update sounds decent on paper with guilds being locked into leagues and a tiered structure, but it ultimately depends on execution. If the effort required outweighs the rewards, it will run into the same issues again.

The problem isn’t just one update. The anniversary was garbage, the consistency in how updates are communicated and delivered is lacking. If the goal is to improve player experience, then messaging needs to be clear, balance changes need to be meaningful, and the effort required needs to match the rewards.

It not wasting mods time because it's so rare and takes only 3 seconds to deal with once we get around to processing the modmaill.
It's not wasting your time because it's the same amount of time to just msg modmail.
It's not wasting other people's time because 9 out of 10 times people will contact us anyway even if the command existed because only a few people look at pins for that type of supplimentary info.

The only waste of time is trying to write the script for a custom command that fits your requirement of automatically grabbing the last msg you posted when that's not stored internally anywhere on a bot we don't control, host or develop the features for, would need to have a command name that isn't intuitively obvious as there's multiple version of the name you could pick (the one you said isn't obvious at all, practically no command actually uses underscores), and would require maintenance if something changes in future with discord, the bot, or discords API, would need some logging setup that ensures mods have a way to monitor the commands usage to ensure it's not being abused by posting stupid suggestions for 5 mins before removing it, or just reposting things because they got a bunch of downvotes and wanted to start fresh without clear evidence that would show up instantly in a discord search for the channel.

If we replace the system in future with our own bot, maybe it can be a consideration for how we design it, but for now we have many other things we'd rather focus on putting effort into, especially when in this case just sending a DM to modmail works perfectly fine.

Ay wanted to mention it here to see what people’s opinions were before I made suggestions lol. Just want members to weigh in so I can make the best suggestions I possibly can, when I actually put it in the channel.

I noticed that there was a content creator program type thing for video creators. How about other types of content? (If I overlooked something big please ignore this) I know that it’s a pretty different situation, but another game that has a content creator thing is Genshin Impact. They have different categories for things like streamers, guide makers, artists, and cosplayers to name the main ones. I believe they may have a bigger team, sure. But art in general is a huge content creation thing that I believe should be recognized as well. For real, art is a huge one, and at the very minimum I think art should be added to the content creator thing.

Instagram and Twitter are the platforms I’d consider for the art stuff, btw. They’re the most common. Of course there are other ones as well, but for the sake of simplicity I’m not going to list them all.

Also tbh, I think it should just be better advertised in general. I saw nothing about this except in the announcement channel, without a ping. That’s the type of thing where fans should be made aware of multiple times, in my personal opinion. Perhaps have a self assignable notification role if moderators don’t wish to ping everyone too often. I definitely think there should be at least some form of pings though.

It's a bit of a thing, sorta. I'm not sure in what scope you're speaking of, regarding events launched by Lilith being catered to individual content creators, access to certain resources, or recognition in our own Discord community, so feel free to detail your thoughts more.

For things like Instagram and Twitter, they already do post certain things that cater to them, with the recent content being similar to past events.

In our own Discord community, we strongly appreciate the artists who share their creations in #afk-fan-art, and when if they contribute multiple creations to the community to be used as emoji or stickers, they get given a contributor role.

I agree it would be nice to make sure those who have art as a major interest are more easily able to receive notifications of official events catering to artists though, and certainly have planned to improve this.

We've been planning to setup self-assignable notification roles for the past couple of months, but there's been some general community arrangements needing to be addressed and implemented before these can be rolled out officially. Until recently, they simply weren't viable due to the likely inconsistent usage they may have seen, making them kinda pointless or at least frustrating. While on the surface it seems as simple as "setup the roles and use the pings", it's not really as simple as that. I can assure you I'm working on it though and hope to have something out sooner rather than later. Original planned time was start of this month, but it's been pushed back to next month. We'll see how it goes.

@crystal lintel just got confirmation that there's a program for artists. It's implied on the Instagram account already in the bio, and it's part of the Twitter and Instagram socials. If artwork is featured, they'll receive in-game compensation and they'll be notified of future art events.

There's nothing really specific to promote though aside from this

Soooo, if you want to make guides, I can only say go for it, pick anything you feel isn't adequately covered by existing guides or maybe has gone out of date, and make something of your own. When you do, be sure to share it (perhaps somewhere like reddit where people will see and comment directly on it over a few days) and if we put a call out for any suggestions on a list of potential resources to have static somewhere, you'll have it ready to go.

Hmm, I feel like a lot of what you say is already existing, and most of what you're complaining about is because you've only seen the one recent creator-focused promotional event that's catered specifically for video content creators.

We've had numerous art focused events also that are similar

The two mediums are different content, so the events naturally would occur at different times

Are you perhaps new to the community?

We also have contributor roles in the server for both art and video content creators that have contributed directly to the community, and they do have access to their own channel.

And no matter if it's contributions here or on other platforms, they're all reviewed individually, so that point you've made already exists too.

Regarding "joining" the program, it's just a matter of either participating in the events that come up, or as mentioned previously, sharing your creations on twitter / instagram with the afk arena social media accounts, and they'll review it anytime, even outside of set events.

If submissions are accepted, they're shared, acknowledged and given in-game compensation based on the work.

It's not a special club to go join up to though

There's no special form to fill out and you don't get a special membership status

The only forms that exist are for the art contests when there's submissions.

Effectively, anyone can submit works to share. It doesn't make sense to have an additional registration step beforehand.

It also doesn't make a lot of sense to give regular rewards to creators unless they're actually regularly contributing.

Rewards/compensation is given based on works/projects done, not for just existing

So there's no need to account for random hiatus'. They can be as active or inactive as they like.

In the end, I'm still quite lost as to what you're requesting that we don't already cater for in some form.

AFAIK there's no moderators in any of the chats, only automoderation, word filters and automutes. For problem people, you need to actively report them, so that their chat history can be reviewed afterwards by customer service people.

As a side note, this specific channel is for discussing suggestions, not proposing them, so if you wanted to have a suggestion put forward to the devs, you need to post it in #classic-suggestions and hope it gets enough upvotes.

Even if a suggestion reaches 35 upvotes it doesn't mean it will be implemented. It means the suggestion will be taken in consideration. I guess we all miss dev-feedbacks 😦

auto upgrade of si was a suggestion,
non-duplicate furniture for heroes under 9f was a suggestion,
quiet time in the beginning of AE was a suggestion,
hero trials I believe were a suggestion,
upgrading gear suggestions have been going on for ages and not we have tiered gear and resonance,
auto battle on guild boss was a suggestion,
auto battle on CR and AE were suggestions,
dimensionals having faction bonuses was a suggestion,
legendary+ heroes being permanent in unions was a suggestion,
being able to first L+ fodder was a suggestion,
hero exchange for extra copies of celepogs after 5* was a suggestion,
and every event so far has been molded by suggestions from the previous events.

There are more but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

That being said, what Lxviss said is exactly correct. The voting is to see whether a suggestion is supported by the community before devs waste their time trying to implement a feature into their game.

I forgot to mention that everything regarding dismal lab was a suggestion (randomizing enemy teams, 3 player teams still being around, dismal lab itself, removing debuffs)

The issue is that the nobles give a crap ton amount of cores/reds if you buy premium, and spenders would be at a huge advantage due to the value being higher then yuexi or whatnot
