Speaking of the gods, why do most of the gods have their origin or how they were born explain, while most of the hypo's origins remain mystery?

At most we only know about their hosts, but not the hypo themselves

Nah, imo God of death created many hypo and it's a way to balance life and death. Dura is the sole reason that this balance was broken in the first place.

Along with it being known that Annih abandoning his duties with nobody to replace him (leaving less-capable individuals like Niru and Elijah/Lailah to scramble to try to pick up the slack) compounding things further.

I don't know much about the lore so far but I read every character's Lore in full, and I just wanna give a shoutout to the people that write all this stuff. It's no LoTR, HP or Overlord, but it does its job well for a short story for every character. I just happened to pull Silvina and Vedan for 2 of my first few characters and I was pretty excited to know their stories were connected in a way. It was like my Vedan pull instantly answered my lingering question of "Wait, who trained Silvina"? And I gotta say it's pretty awesome 👍

So, to a certain point I have noticed that Hypogeans have similarities to the seven sins of catholicism and other miscellaneous mystic theologies. It is as follows-

¤Pride; Leofric; Preys on the pride and need for power in humans, and seems to think himself above the rank-and-file Hypogeans, which technically, he is.

:》Gluttony- Mezoth; Mouth and Food iconography combined with his endless hunger for anything. He is quite literally the poster child for Gluttony.

♡Lust- Mehira; Literally a succubus. 'Nuff said.

:(Wrath- Lucretia; Will destroy anyone and anything to get back at Zaphrael. Even herself. Driven purely by her rage and vengeance.

zZzSloth- Zikis; His story and abilities make this pretty self explanatory.

$€Greed- Khazard; This one was difficult, as there may not be a Hypogean out who better fits this. His want for knowledge and fulfillment when he already had what would considered by us mortals as the perfect job caused his fall and enthrallment to what is probably the one abyssal expedition boss, the squid one forgot what it's called.

The translator(s) being fancy, i guess. Problem is they love changing stuff but never keep track of the change and hence we the players have to suffer these inconsistency in translation. Everything would have been easy if they just make a simple glossary for the lore

Like in Drez's lore for example. No one would have known wasteland guard vark is Walker if they have never been in the channel

currently in love with how the lore of ch37-42 are all lovecraftian horror-tier shit and then ch43 onwards is just "wholesome happy dreamland uwu"

like the devs realized how dark the world of afk arena was getting and decided to take it back a notch

ofc 99% of players havent even reached ch43 so if the average player wants to see how uplifting it gets later then they have to actively go searching for it (i.e. going to the world map and tapping on the chapter descriptions ahead of time like i did lol)
