Legendary (yellow border) is a completely irrelevant ascension tier. It makes no difference at all. Your yellow heroes are not inherently stronger then the non-yellows and same applies to your uninvested wokes (eugene and whoran). Just pick from =gitgud and don't worry that they're E, it doesn't matter

1. when given an option between abunch of heroes, take the one from the faction that is offered most often, most likely the game is going to keep recommending you those heroes and give special abilities for that faction.
2. Focus on upgrading 1 hero to max, instead of trying to upgrade every hero evenly.

Reset ivan and get rem to lvl 160. Dont level ivan and the others until rem is 40 levels ahead of them.

I see youre the reason I keep seeing 2 tank fronts for early rem teams lol. Why do you recommend that? The second tank isn't protecting anyone since ivan just goes underground. And whoever is in the middle back is expendable

idk I just always found someone that provides some utility to be more valuable as the second front spot. Like I usually put lyca there for most of the 20s

plus once you get rem's 3f you can put almost anyone there since she gives them a cheat death anyway

The pre ch31 Rem team revolves around heroes who can provide utility to either keep her alive longer, increase her damage or get her to ult faster. Rem needs as much protection as possible to get her ult off. The second tank is there not just to "protect" in a traditional sense, but to strategically absorb hits and control enemy movement, buying time for Rem. They provide more underlying utility than just being a 'tank'.

Yes, a lot of heroes on the team are expendable, but I aim to use heroes who have a mix of survivability and utility to keep the team functional as long as possible. For example:

1. Thoran: Thoran revives after other allies have died, this allows him to draw enemies to himself during that second life. This usually buys Rem enough time to ult a 2nd time if needed or for the 1st time if she was edging a lot. Placing him in the 1 slot while Brutus holds the 2 slot often maximizes his utility in clutch situations.
2. Atheus: He’s particularly effective when there’s a hero like Estrilda on the enemy team. Atheus isn’t affected by opening CC, so he prevents Estrilda from kicking him back and charging through the team. He can keep the formation intact, ensuring that Rem and the other backline aren't stunned or disrupted.
3. Ashem: Ashem gives the entire team a second life, and her utility here lies in her default base cheat death ability. (Infact since that's her utility here and her dying before an ally dies makes her useless, it is sometimes applicable to put her in the backrow. I've seen so many older players get confused when they see L ashem in the back row but I feel like yall forget that she doesnt give the two people behind her cheatdeath until her 9f. However her needing to be put in the back row is quite rare).
4. Rowan: He brings a lot of support to the front line he heals, and force ults rem, and he's invincible for the first few seconds of the round, and he's not effected by starting cc like estrilda kick. I used to actually prio him above atheus, but some months back abunch of people yelled at me for advising that so I shelved him for atheus and forgot about rowan as a frontliner until the other day.

Brutus remains a staple in that second tank slot because his survivability outlasts most others, keeping enemies off Rem and buying her the time she needs.

As for the middle-back slot (p4), I actually aim to place Rem there when possible, as her ult has optimal coverage from that spot. While sometimes she may need to be moved to p3 or p5, p4 usually allows her to do a more even spread of damage to all enemies, similar to Em and Simona in that position. And like you imply by saying that a second tank isnt necessary because the middle slot is expendable, if you have Rem there, again which is prefered, then you'd want two tanks.

As for lyca, sometimes you do need multiple of those types of utility supports like maybe using lyca, palmer and nara all at the same time, but its pretty rare. Usually you can get by with using either nara or lyca or palmer. And I find that usually its nara atleast past a certain point that is required.

Realistically no matter what strategy you decide to use it doesnt really matter as long as it works ⠀

hm aight that does make sense. I guess for my personal experience I usually defaulted to lyca up front and fell back to other options only when that didn't work. But i guess really its ust more a testament to how strong ivan+rem is, everything else is very interchangeable. Some options may increase or decrease RNG but all the flex supports probably have non-zero chance of victory and auto-battle finds it eventually lol

libcharm and first team, (I hadn't run last team since knox, so that one probably has issues too) but I'll probably free up units in T2 or T3 so I can stall in T5 with seal
libcharm I could probably run more tries and it'd pass, first team is lacking a bit more dps I think because the best run I had was daemia + Aathalia, with Aathal duking it with warek + flora

Generally how it goes - Pippa M20 fails spell, sends invulnerable Thoran into their team, then your team wipes, Thoran gets enough energy, goes down, goes back up, kills 4/5, Flora comes down, Thoran ults again, Flora's damage causes the ult to hit her back hard enough to kill her

M20 pippa has still been pretty handy in 2t wilder but yeah she's the cheap part. Si30 thoran is the real part you need and the thing many don't like doing since it's a campaign only invest. Rowan si30 is generally recommended too I think

You can ascend regular heroes once you get 8 copies of them. However there are two exceptions to this rule.

   Also use all faction scrolls and shit on the graveborn faction. Make sure to do all available Forest Mania ASAP and use all the scrolls gained from it on graveborn

There are too many tanks in your team(Ashem,Brutus,Atheus), you may drop brutus and use Nara to hook the rat/gunner or
use lyca to accelerate

Yes, an easy way to tell if someone needs to restart or not is if they have a hero with one of these green squares. Its an easy tell that they're a returning player and were gone long enough to have gotten the Returning Player events (which requires a long amount of time of inactivity)

returning players should restart simply because they wont be able to compete in their region anymore meaning they wont be able to get Resources from events and modes meaning they'll progress very slowly if at all
