eh, safaya has more fur than thali. honestly thali is only a step in the right direction because they took such a big step back with Antandra and Satrana

they started with ankhira who while part human looking has the spider legs. then we get safiya who is a sphinx and only half human looking. then we get Antandra and Satrana who only have the ears and tail and are even more sexualised (and even have human feet). then with thali we get back to more animal looking, but she only has fur on her face and the rest of her is decidedly human looking until you get to her feet

but thali is still less animal looking than safiya

Thali is covered in short fur or that's at least what would make sense. I would put both (Safiya and Thali) on the same level.
Safiya may have half a body that is clearly animalistic, but she still has the striking feature of what clusters all female Maulers together, her human half.
Thali on the other hand has at least only the posture (and sadly the face after the change) of a human, though she is still covered in fur.
Ankirah is still too sexualised for putting her near Thali or Safiya.
Both have a step in the right direction but are still flawed.

Anasta has what all the fans have waited for. A female Mauler that doesn't look like a human and is fully animalistic in design.
