its random what you find. the totems help increase the rng, and some of them give specific things like miracle worker making +1 skill show up, but you pretty much have to just take what you are given

sometimes old ones are better for campaign if you need the haste or energy given by call or book, or barricade. but you cant use the old artifacts in NC/CR/TS, and you can with collections, so that is where it comes into play more
