What I’ve mainly seen from experienced players answering this question so far is that merlin is a very valuable all around hero in most gamesmodes at A5. Tatsu and saitama might be better in specific gamemodes, but are currently not tested enough to give any guarantees. Merlin is a safe bet for a good A5 investment.

I personally am also around 2 months in and went all in on tatsu cause it seemed more fun. Just do what you feel is best for your playstyle/game enjoyment and progress

Assume:
player A chapter 20
Player B chapter 10

Rules:
if neither (or just higher) is on cool down can duo.

Then once done. Player A can only duo what appears to be WITHIN 2 chapters. Not two chapters and one stage, but >2

So he could duo at 20-1 with a minimum of a new player B at 18-1

However if Player A continually helps people within 2 chapters his cool down doesn’t reset

They can also still co op with players above them by two chapters as well with no penalty

I feel like it’s the 5. time you asked these kinds of questions so I will give you a breakdown

Merlin gives 40% damage reduction period. That’s what you’re getting him for, he also heals and maybe buffs a little I’m not sure but when building comps that 40% damage reduction is the only thing we keep in mind. Oh and that he has a cheat death, making him a little more survivable

Tatsumaki does pure damage, A lot of damage and a good amount of CC with however 0 survivability skills so you gotta protect her

Good question I never thought to ask but what I do is stock up on gems for the collab summons and spend them here and there for emblems and summons in the shop

Yes I’m not sure how often it happens but the destiny summons maybe every 3 months becomes a collab event I’m still fairly new so I’m not sure on the exact time

But I would recommend saving at least 420 summons to get all 4 gear pieces for your dimensional heroes

Afk arena has 2 modes: classic and companions. I think you are in companions mode. That confused me a lot when i started a few weeks ago. Companions only started a year or so ago. I have enjoyed B for bacon’s youtube channel that helps new players like me play companions mode.

for bosses, im usually top 100 but sometimes i have to scrape 90-100, depending on the boss

i still have 266k diamonds so i might be able to get another one maxed but it depends on rates

since im f2p i want to make the most optimal decision, even if the difference isnt that big
