Best to not use ascended tier heroes to fodder and definitely don't fodder Silas imo. I'd say exception can be made for wilders to speed up ASolise but only choose 2 or 3 amongst the worst ones (Nemora/Gorvo/Seirus/Respen if you ever pull them from elite soulstones). You'll need 8 A5 in order to have A5 ASolise. That should be Mishka, Lyca, Nevanthi, Eironn, Tasi, Pippa, Oku, and one from the 4 I listed above

For context, there's about 1250 people who've gone past chapter 5, out of which barely over a 100 who've gone past chapter 16, after 3 weeks.
Also for context, many of those, I've seen on other servers as well.

That's misleading you.

He's not a bad unit, but definitely not a great one. Thing is, when you have a pure damage dealer like that, it's just a DPS check. And unless the hero's really powerful, they tend to have quite the requirements in terms of level, gear, pets, etc. And even then will get hard countered sometimes.

Basically means you have a hero, who can't do much without having much, unlike heroes who, well, can.

@sharp jungle rush stage basically is an auto-clear when you're way ahead of the enemy. It's a QoL feature to not have you deal with rng and setting up teams, when you clearly should be much further ahead.

The CMBR of stages is not always forward increasing, say they go 11k, 12k, 13k then a spike on boss stage of 16k, which you are not eligible for Rush, you beat it manually then next stage is 14k which you are again available to Rush

And early it's really odd, since Ascension gives more CMBR than levels, I was able to rush stages lvl 90 while my heroes were lvl 80

You only want to ascend whoever you can get to L+ at the very least, and plan on ascending to M.

E+ to L is a negligible difference in stats, while that fodder can end up getting stuck on a hero you don't have enough copies of to ascend further.

That difference being that in companions, the whole leveling process is much easier to deal with and you only really need one hero to deal with the level caps tied to ascension.

Which consequentially means it's okay to go for M on heroes, even when you don't have 8 copies to go for A.

Though you'll still want to do so on heroes that actually rely on ascension (such as for their SI) and you'd have in your wishlist, so you can keep getting more copies of them.

I got my asolise to 2* and then started focusing on getting 5x ascended on all other factions so I can be ready for next awakened 😛

since you need 3+ teams pretty soon in the game, its nice to have 5* other factions as well, not just wilders

I find climbing is actually easiest with lightbearers tbh

Sonja is the perfect hero with her tankiness damage and healing and pairing her with Rosaline following her if she sonja ults once you auto win since rosa will ult right after sonja does

Then you have rowan support estrilda tank and cc and then throw in like a lyca for haste and its so easy
