To get the fastest times (you're looking at 9-11 seconds) you have barely any time for ur heroes to use their skills, so u wanna force them to use specific skills to maximise the damage. If Daemias haste is too fast she might end up wasting time on a useless skill and add a couple seconds to ur time

In a gamemode where the difference between ranks could be 0.5 seconds, 2 seconds saved by removing gear is a huge thing
