Note that none of the bar owners can really speak English (though I remember one bartender who did).
The owner of Failure's Kitchen is super friendly and will engage you anyway if you try to talk to him. Would recommend, he's been there for 20 years iirc

Yes, I apologize about that. Typically don’t just ghost I always give a reason for what’s happening but as soon as I left the hotel since I’m on the main strip, there was a group of drunk dudes stumbling everywhere. Accidentally bumped into a few and they were insanely belligerent I could just tell, even though they didn’t speak any English, and all I heard was gaijin.

Idc at all it’s their homeland I just wanna stay away from those situations, but I was heading down that area and was going down some side alleys where that river (Dotombori) is with all of the bridges that are running across it and because I circled around and went back to the main street. I ended up running into them again, and they did the same thing except they were following me. I don’t know what their destination was, but I felt Hella uncomfortable, and that’s a first for me here since then, so I literally just walked about 3-4 km they finally went away and I walked right back to the hotel

Probably should’ve just sent a message after I got back to the hotel. But I’m in Osaka another five nights, so I’m down to do anything during the day or night. 🫶 I want to go see Nara and Himeji castle
