Yes imo, 20mins is close by. Pay for entrance, walk around inside the main hall and the pagoda. Then wander off towards the Coffee Market (cafe), just looking around

The feeling from looking at the wall murals while a monk chants and taps the drum was quite something for me, though you might not end up seeing one happen

Also let me know how you wanna plan this out because we'll need to co-ordinate and get time entry passes into certain sections as soon as we get into the theme park. My thoughts were to get a timed entry pass into the Wizarding World for around lunchtime whilst we make a beeline for Super Mario World first. A timed entry isn't required if you get to Super Mario World first thing. I think the same applies to Harry Potter world but I reckon it would be better to do Mario World first

Yes, absolutely. A full day is more than enough time to hit a lot of cool rides. But you have to make use of tips like only using the single rider line

And you get to eat some cool food. This Mario Pancake Cream Strawberry sandwich was amazing

And followed a somewhat different strategy (not deliberately)

So I arrived too late for Mario. There was a massive lineup and they'd stopped allowing people into the Mario section without timed entry.

So what I did was I took timed entry for 11:50am instead and figured I'd explore the rest of the park instead.

1st ride at 8 30 was the Jurassic park rollercoaster A 10 minute wait. So good

2nd I went to amazing spiderman. About 20 minutes, single line

3rd I went to wizarding world. Maybe 45 minutes? Longest line by far but still not awful

After doing these 3 rides and some wandering around my Mario entry started

Went in and singles line. I got to ride it in about 20 minutes

Overall by 12:30 I'd done 4 of the busiest rides in the park. @errant seal

I honestly recommend doing Hamza's schedule. I didn't need a Timed Entry for Super Mario World but the Kart Ride was still like a 40 minute wait because they didn't put Singles Line in the beginning. And then I had to wait like an hour for the Harry Potter ride...

I also recommend the little known Horror Sadako ride. That was actually really good and I only had to wait like 10 minutes

"Namba - Niku to Sakana to Sake - Yuu" (難波 肉と魚と酒 雄): a very good izakaya - it's a bit hidden inside a building, on 1F/ground floor, but had a great range of cuisines (Jp yakitori & sashimi, Korean, Chinese, even Western iirc)

we loved the mayo shrimp (ebimayo)

Honestly if I don’t do enough tomorrow I may be convinced to scrap my Hiroshima trip, or forward my luggage and move it to the same day I move back to Tokyo.

So long as you go on the single rider lane, you should get through most of the rides. Also, SMW is cool/fun but not all that exciting

HPW is more exciting. My advice is get to USJ before they open and get a timed entry slot for SMW. Afterwards head to HPW and do as many rides as possible before moving onto the rest of the park while you wait to enter SMW

It'll also help if you have a big breakfast before you go, so that you have stamina/energy for the day
