If you are on computer sounds like a keyboard key might be stuck....Cant' remember the exact details for me but I had a period of time when I was tossing items on the ground and I had a key that the computer thought was being held down. Had to go through and click them all to find it.

A few points concerning fishing:
The AFK value of fishing seems to be bugged. As shown in the attached screenshots I have one with skill efficiency prayer equipped, and one without. The prayer takes me over the threshold for 4x, and should in theory increase my AFK gains by 33%. No change in AFK gains is observed.

In addition, taking samples of fish is "bugged". I tried sampling on different fishing spots several times, but could only get samples from random fish. IMO the different fishing spots should each give samples of one specific fish, so that one can sample the one that is wanted. Instead you have to delete the samples and retry until you randomly sample the fish you want.

Ok so i discovered a way to force crash the game on PC/Steam, if you press "i" the inventory shortcut during the catching minigame and close the inventory window again with "i", when you lose the game it just crashes. it also screws up the minigame, you can play the minigame but the graphics are all messed up and slightly higher up than normal, you also regain movement control of your character while simultaneously controlling the minigame.

I was unable to screenshot it but the portal in the Tyson map that leads to the MoonMoon map doesn't open even though the kills requirement are met. I did this three times but it just adds up and now the kills I need is at 2935 instead of 243 that I had before the update. This only happens for that map and for my Wizard Character.

Using time candy or going AFK in "The Ring" map where the scorpions are drops items and such as if fighting the Tysons, but they don't count for the portal. When moved away from the trapping area candy counted also the kill for the portal.

Opening new portal is bugging out for me (on my 8th and 9th character) been here at tysons for a more than a day on both character and the kills doesn’t move at all, check both char’s kills through the cards and both says 11 kills only when I just claimed more than 24hrs afk and had almost 25k+ kills on both 😅

@rich pivot It's bugged because the teleport spot is on the scorpion trapping area. You can go away from the scorpions so the bottom left doesn't show your trapping skill, but shows the main class and use candy. Or you can wait for a fix which usually doesn't take that long.

My carry capacity seems to have gone down a slight amount (went from 800 to 778 items) when I unlocked the platinum ore alchemy vial (the one that reduces the cost of stamps) yesterday. I can't replicate the bug to confirm that the platinum ore vial is indeed bugged, but I made no other changes that would've led to this happening, so it's the only thing I can think of that would've done it.

When selecting the star talents tab, the little green notifications for the other tabs sometimes pop up without there being any points to apply.

Tyson mobs, to open the next location after the tyson mobs you need to kill them.
you can use candy, activity kill, or afk kill to fulfill the requirements.
But it does not work when you stand on the scorpie location. It will not count at all and waste your afk and candy. tried it multiple times and even switch servers to check to see if it was a glitch.

Seems this is still bugged, whenever i do a boss i tend to tank the damage and i know for a fact i have never done a damageless run on chaotic efaunt.

Can someone please clarify for me something. is the talent on the first tab, bottom left corner (for example brute efficiency for barbarian) supposed to give efficiency in all skills or just the two that they are specialized at such as mining/fishing? It says ALL Specialized skills, but only seems a limited affect. For example. Adding points to it for my barbarian does not help catching, but does help mining. (i'm checking on the afk info tab for results)

Specialised means depending on class, for warrior its mining and for the sub class of barb its fishing

Very minor, locking a stamp that hasn't been given to the stamp pig, will not prevent it from being taken from your inventory, space stays locked tho, no problem to unlock it after.

I finally bought all my points I needed to go positive again, but I have no upgrades for the smithing levels I had purchased. 1.the Squire skill "tempestuous Emotions" what boost exp in specialzed dont get any exp boost for Construction, what should be because a squire is specialized in construktion.

i have it lvl 120 what should give me 18 refinery cyclos. but now its already the 3t day i dont get 18 "Cycles. i only get +18 power. but it should be 18 "cycles" in my case it should be 18 x power per cycles x6 = 108 power and not 18 power

You very likely did not lose any upgrades.
If you had any other smithing skill leveled like the production speed skill and/or the EXP increasing skills it raises the anvil numbers. IE it'll actually show you how much more exp you're getting with the exp boosting skill levelled or you get more points/hr with production speed boosted and the anvil shows you this.
If you reset and haven't levelled them as high the numbers will be lower. You never "lose" upgrades on the anvil.

Same thing, My portal on tysons isnt working while afk, because the "spot" that you afk at is the scorpions. So it seems like the kills wont apply from afk.

You can active through the portal though.

During the tower deff waves in w1 goblin area if you miss click the above platform you auto walk there and are unable to get back down. I myself when there on purpose as i some how placed a ice tower there and wanted to trash it quick. after going there to remove the tower i was unable to return as the little vine ladders were disabled and the platform is not visible click

Not sure if its a bug or intended, but Power Strike (warrior active attack) attack range is not the same as my weapon. This prevents it from being used during Auto unless the enemy moves towards me. Using a Royal Bayonet (95 range) atm.

So I signed up on Steam and have been playing for 2 months. I'd like to be able to play on browser. I sign in with my gmail account which is what I'm using on steam and it shows that I have 0 characters. I believe this is because I used my Youtube username when signing up on steam. If I log out/log in on Steam I get the option to choose between the two usernames (main email vs youtube user). I don't get the option on browser. Also, my further attempts to sign in on browser just seem to keep me stuck at the tutorial.

It's a bug that keeps creeping back. Got a vid on how to bypass it what you need is any bow and you click past the head then click on the head and you will auto attack him down. Takes time so go watch TV or something and come back

So I don't know what causes this, but I play the game on mobile and the steam version on both my pc and my laptop (the laptop when my girl kicks me off the pc so she can play her game)... I only encounter this on the laptop - not the mobile or pc - but whenever I try to switch to my shaman (logger I recently respec'd to pick up some class levels) the screen just goes black and the game freezes, forcing me to restart the game... the issue only occurs with that one character, which is in my 3rd character slot by the way

I'm not getting any AFK kills counted towards the portal in The Ring. Its happening on my J-Man and on a barbarian. Active kills count, I just receive zero after claiming afk gains, even though I receive plenty of drops. Don't know if I'm receiving kills on my cards. @woven flower maybe! I tried logging out after moving up to the tysons and slapping a few around, so its not where you log out. Where you log in might be right on the money.

If you afk exactly 6-7 Minutes at snowflakes you get 1 fragment and 1 golden ham 100% of the time.

update to this bug, towers receiving the buff will only work if their level are in increments of 5 OR if they have just received the party tower buff. Example, if you have a level 6 pulse then build a level 5 party tower it will work. However once you level the pulse to 7 it will no longer receive the buff unless it reaches level 10 or receives another party buff. Also note that it will always visually say the buff is applied even when it isnt.

So a problem I've had throughout all worlds, since before W3, is that sometimes crystal mobs will sometimes give significantly less experience and drops than they should. I'd say about 30% of the time. I believe they also have reduced health, defence, and damage, as well, compared to what they should have. I'm suspecting that crystal mobs are failing to inherit the class of the mob they should, and are instead becoming the 'base' crystal mob. Using PC, Steam version.

There is an issue with locking items when swapping between mobile and PC. On my phone all the items showed as unlocked but on PC they all show as locked. While switching characters, I accidentally pressed home. The game reloaded to the home screen, I logged into my shaman and teleported them to Bullfrogs. Then I loaded into my Squire, teleported them from [W3 spoilers] ||penguins|| to the Desert town via bottle and went to the pier to disassemble my crab traps, then teleported to Slimes to put them up at froges. I changed worlds when I noticed I wasn't on my guild's home world and there the shaman stood. They weren't on the pizza world the game loaded me into, only on the home world.

Reloading doesn't remove the shaman. My player log shows them at Bullfrogs and other players can see them both too.

Got the shaman to disappear by logging into it. Nothing out of the ordinary on that char, they stayed at Bullfrogs and got the regular loot. Weird glitch

When Logging in, especially after logging out and switching accounts, there's an issue where stats seem to be corrupted.
An example being, getting hurt in an area where you'd usually not. Checking stats shows that the defence stat is low, restarting the game restores your correct stats.

I've had other related issues show up too, like locking a slot on one account's inventory, locked that slot on all characters on the other account.

When mining, if you are mining the better ore in the area like gold ore but swap to iron... While it's walking there it changes to Iron per hour but keeps the XP ratio of gold ore

there is an visual bug where dmg numbers from spells aren't correct (it seems like the last digit is missing ) as shown in the pic the 3 numbers on the right was a basic attack from my hunter and the 243.615 dmg crit on the left was a bear trap (trap lvl is 90 so it should do 330% dmg) (my dmg range is 264k-553k) @nova dawn np we all can make mistakes sometimes it only makes us human and i assume its the same bug as the person further up top stated.

Sir I think you have your math incorrect here. 330% of 200k is 660k. Saying there is a number missing would imply you are dealing 10 times that damage, which would be 3300% of a normal attack. I'm not seeing the bug here other than your math.

I recorded this video of the error when talking to cactus. I found that you can still turn in quests no problem on steam. Obviously not great, but a workaround. No clue if this affects iOS. 1 is shown. if OK is clicked, 1 item is taken.
if a number is typed, it doesn't affect the 1, it affects the previously typed number, which is insanely glitchy.

please display the last number when this happens, or actually reset the value to 1, or at least select the entire value so when delete is pressed or another number is typed it deletes everything rather than just the last digit of a number you still can't see (1 continues to be displayed if you delete the 4th digit)

If you're at The Ring and stand on the platform where the scorpions are, then use a time candy, you'll get the right drops for Tysons, and it'll say you got kills, but if you go to the Tyson card the kill count won't go up, and so the portal to the next area wouldn't unlock for me. Yeah cause you step off the trapping platform, not because you killed a monster. Like I said, standing anywhere else made the time candy work and then I unlocked the portal, but previous kills still didn't get added to the card. It's like the game thinks you're trapping when standing on that platform and go afk, which is what's happening when you use time candies, but for some reason it drops you fighting stuff, probably since trapping doesn't drop anything

I think a lot of people who get this bug get it since when you teleport to The Ring, you spawn on the platform with the scorpions, and they just went there to afk so they switxh to another char before stepping off the platform

I assume that no longer having the required leveled wizard to have a certain amount of prayers, breaks it since you have more prayers equipped then you’re supposed to have.

It seems that hunter skills 'have another' and 'have another, again' either don't stack correctly, or don't stack in an intuitive way.

I currently have 144% chance of firing extra arrows, but roughly one shot in 50 is a single arrow.

This probably starts to drop to next to nothing as you level them higher, but at my current 67%+77% levels, it's pretty obvious.

I was considering that they might cascade instead of stack (as the text states), but in that case it would be triggering too often...

Map teleport bug: I know I receive 1 free teleport daily, I have bought bribes "Fake Teleport Tickets" (+1 teleport) and "Counterfeit Telepassports" (+2 teleports), however I daily get only 2 instances added to my account. context: Made a completely new account on a new email and my new character had 20 - 50 damage, 30 accuracy and 5 defence right away as level 1. I thought it was a new buff thing with the world 3 update but according to others, not. I assume it was from the fact I logged off and on the new email from the same playsession so my old accounts stamps and other bonuses went right into the new account.

It seems like a gamebreaking bug to me; tried logging on/off multiple times including switching between accounts and bonuses still stayed on my new account.

I am so upset i just lost 2 days and 7 hours of afk gains, I'm assuming this has to be a bug so I'm posting it here. I Screenshot a lot of things when it comes to games so I have some of those for proof with this. Basically I started the app around 1sh as you will see in the SS got all my awesome afk gains including about 70 gold total from all my characters, along with various items according to where I afked at. Completed some quests because of the afk items I got and bought many things and upgrades with the 70ish gold I got, played on my charaters a bit then went on to play others games. Well 7 hours later I open the app again to play, and see that the time I've been afk is 2 days 10hr or 2days 15hrs. Now I know that can't be cause I just played it less the 8hrs ago. Not only that but all but one of my characters was afk doing nothing! So all rewards and gold I got before I didn't get now. Idk what happened but please fix this. I want my rewards, lol.

That said, I've found that always exiting the game by returning to the swap player/character select screen and closing the game completely prevents ALL of the character, afk/spawn timer, inventory, and cache desync issues between steam/mobile/web.

On mobile, that includes swiping the app out of the tasks/app changer/recent apps lists so that android's power save doesn't just pause the game and later restore it's state without the game realizing that time basically stopped for it.

It seems to be every time you're going to afk for a while, or when you've been active on one character for an extended period without changing maps or characters.

(Note: i don't need to log out, just going to the character select forces the sync, but leaving the select to play a character does not resync...
So don't leave the character select open and just jump right in, since sleep/hibernate/powersave modes on both pc and mobile can trick the game into thinking less time has passed. )

And for more 'bug fixing' info...
The game's timer system seems to have a moderately long delay between sync events with the server when idle but open. (I also suspect packet loss can cause a timer sync to be skipped)
Certain actions and activities seem to force a sync, but long sessions without tripping a forced sync can result in a temporary DB/cache desync state called 'split brain'.

When that happens, a little bad timing with a crash, game closing, or an expired cache hit/refresh is all it takes to turn jumping on a character to collect drops into accidentally losing stuff.

speculation: Either the client thinks the server has the right data or the client's cache expires and only gets overwritten when opening from cold, but the result is 'leave client sitting, start playing, collect afk rewards, close/crash/minimize game, reopen game to see player select with incorrect afk time.'

I suspect that the client is checking its local time versus the server and since the clients seem to be losing time it thinks that the server is the more recent copy of the data even if it may not be...

Also note: switching apps or turning off the screen on android and sleep/hibernate on windows can both pause the local afk timer in the client.
This also seems to pause the sync timer as well, which increases the risk of losing locally cached data.

Found the reason: if you are standing on the scorpios area your afk kills dont count toward portal kills for the area

Yes, that's the general consensus of the last 300 reports for that issue... The workaround is to actively farm the area or use a time candy while not standing in the trapping area.

(And loading in from afk places you in the affected area, which is why it breaks)

As an aside, discord has a search feature for specific channels. In:bug-reports will limit the search to this room.

My account and characters are not producing Anvil materials properly; after being offline for over 24 hours, none of the Thread in my Anvil production tabs are full. My max produce capacity is 1.2k and produce speed is 16k+ on all characters (Except 8th Character) so I should have maxed Thread in about 10 hours of production. I tested it on my 8th character with 16k production speed, 576 capacity and he filled to 484/576 after 24 hours. On my other characters, they filled to 1021/1202 after 24 hours. There appears to be a bug that is causing my anvil produce to get taxed 15% upon login. I can provide screenshots/livestream my login as proof. If anyone is able to assist me in figuring out what is causing the problem and how to fix it that'd be awesome, thanks! ^^

On mobile, I have experienced a really frustrating occurrence:
If you crash due to the successful animation/pressing of the brew button for a new bubble in alchemy (I was attempting to brew 8th yellow bubble), it will not register and reset upon relogging. While it refunds the cauldron charge, it is quite frustrating to have it be successful and then just not (because of course it failed when I tried it afterwards again).

I did use auto. It kept focusing on that mob that won't die. It had no hp bar, and my dmg was already way beyond his supposed max hp. Auto is why I got there in the first place. Hard Resources card set bonus (bonus skill AFK gain rate) doesn't apply its bonus. If relevant, it's currently bronze level (+8%) with 26/36 levels.
For troubleshooting purposes (will edit as I try more things):

I tried Catching, Fishing, Chopping, and Mining on both my primary skillers as well as other characters that aren't specced into it.

I tried leaving it active then switching characters/maps, I tried switching onto and off of it.

I tried with and without prayers.

In all of these situations the AFK gains page didn't change (exp/hr, items/hr, AFK %).

I also tried using a time candy and can confirm it isn't just a display error; the bonus was not applied.

This has happened a few times today, I turn in quests with my barbarian and the game crashes. Anyone else having this problem?

When you swap devices, any unapplied afk exp from the first device for Alchemy/Construction/etc is lost.

As an example:

1. Store 12 hours afk for all characters.
2. Login on 1st device on only one character (to deposit ore, for instance). Miner gets 12 hours afk gains saved for alchemy/construction/etc. Other characters have gains locally buffered waiting for login, I guess.
3. Wait 2 hours
4. Login on 2nd device. All characters except miner will now receive 2 hours afk gains on alchemy/construction/etc, as the previously gained 12 hours is "lost" and was never applied to the other characters.

Would explain why my Miner is multiple Alchemy levels ahead of everyone else, at least.

not sure if a bug or intended, but if i log out in The Ring on the scorpie platform, i get AFK gains for tysons when i log back in, but their kills don't count towards opening the portal, nor are they counted on my tyson card

ok, so signed out of steam, can't sign back in now, only gives email and Google options from Steam. Did not use either with steam. Not sure why the "sync up" option is not signing me in with my steam info

my highest damage with a crit right now is around 2k, lvl 35 archer is my highest toon, as soon as I unlocked world 2's merit shops I had a few of those unlocked though and it says my highest dmg is 23.1k

edit: maybe it counts the big pickaxe skill from my miner or something?

First time loading idleon on steam and I went to play my first character and as soon as I went to claim my afk rewards 1 day 13 hours all of the loot caused a crash along with the spam of all the sudden achievements

I used my eagle eye skill in front of my alchemy cauldron. It dropped a ton of mice and bunnies. It used all 14 of my daily vial attempts and now I see -6/14.

if so that's why it says that you have little accuraccy.

I just turned my two weakest Obols into fragments for the sake of completing the W2 daily challenge, but it only counted one of them 😢 And I only had 3 Obols in total, and had to buy one extra with 10 water so as not to scrap my two decent Obols. Now I'm not only down by two Obols, but also no rewards for the task 😩

There seems to be something off with the Worship and Trapping AFK timers?
If I'm sitting at the player select screen, the timer on these seems to progress extremely slowly.
Playing actively on a character or closing the game progresses time normally, just not sitting at the character select screen, which seems unusual since that's never been an issue for any other time sensitive Thing in the game.

If you alternate you have to go to player menu before you switch or it'll be desynced

When i was trying to play idleon today, it wont let me play because it wont connect to the server. I checked my wifi but it is fine, so i tried 3x and nothing worked. I log out of my account and log back in but it wont log in.
I redownloaded it and log on but stuck in tutorial. I downloaded the game on another device but still the same result.
Help please.

Got a Black screen after equipping the forth personal square obol on my first character. And now always get a black screen when trying to log into him ...
FIXED but lucky, logged into the Android version and Got the char in a state before equipping the obol. Not gonna try this with eqipping it again.
UPDATE. okay this bug is WEIRD, i still had the 4th square obol (bottom left one) equipped, i can login fine on the android version, but steam does crash! my 5th character slot also had the 4th square obol eqipped and can play with no issue on the Steam Version.
Temporaily fixed it for me my unequipping the 4th square obol on 1st Char in the android version

Bandit Bob keeps giving cards if u don't continue the conversation. When you talk to him he drops them, then if u log out and in again you get the cards again and he acts like you never spoke to him.

I just went to buy a Tarantulight to throw Mystery stones at. When I tried to I realized it somehow had 0 open slots and already 3 weapon power (rest is default). This is obviously very nice but i don't think it was intended to come out of the store this way.
what i did: TP to tiki-zone, buy Tarantulight + Respec Fragment, claim Amarok Keys, use Bottled Town Teleport, get Mystery Stones from Chest, Swap them with Tarantulight because not being able to apply them

If you use the curse where you cannot afk more than 10 hours, and you stay afk longer, it'll consume all your food stacks at an alarming rate. For example, I can stay afk 6 hours and consume around 50 hot dog. If I stay afk 11 hours, I consume 900 hotdogs, cheese, yeti ham and bread and health pots

For some reason, the bonus exp stats are not showing. I clicked that cog that was supposed to have 9% according to the exp view. It has been like this for 2 days already. switching character for a few seconds and the "in game" time has passed 2 hours+, multiple characters can claim 2 hours+ afk gain for just a few seconds, seems like it's related to lag issue.

I think the obol crash has to do with extra slots from salt licker. at least the obol that crashed my game was in that space and when i tried moving an obol in from a "normal" space it did not crash

I spent the last two days on my 9th character killing Tysons. I have racked up around 20k kills, but the gate hasn't opened. My AFK kills don't change the door value, and my card codex shows I've gotten 35 kills on the character.

(( I just used a 4hr candy at Tysons, and it didn't count the kills towards the portal. I just teleported into the map and still stood on the scorpion-critter platform, afk info showed that i would be killing Tysons, so i used the candy. ))

The resource points in the coliseum stays a while after clearing the mobs when playing in steam.
Not sure if it was intended or not since this is not the case if you play via browser.
