Sad to see this well here the basics on some ways to go about balancing(for normal devs and actually want the best playing experience for its players)
-You make that option more approchable,so for exemple you could now toggle « afk gain goes to targetted bubble »(now casual player approach those stats,so no huge gaps{depend on speed,if too slow,this just bring back the initial issue}
-Depending on amount,just leave those alone,so DONT remove it(The even worse thing would be to make it exclusive/locked) {Good for them,they traded time and ressource to get an advantage}
-Rethink balancing overall,what should I assume player are at?
