decided to look at how the save file is structured because I was bored while waiting for trekking to advance, and as it turns out there's a whopping 52 potential slots for rifts in the save file 
that means the save file is built in advance for another 42 rifts apparently (this doesn't account for pro rifts, I haven't found where they're stored yet)

So today i figured it out. The new idle skilling expansion is going to be a rogue lite, so far by the addition of these autoclicker elements he is preparing us for a bigger commitment. The references are also there, he was playing risk of rain 2, little lava tells us he really likes rogue legacy!! Clearly the new dlc will be a microtransaction heaven of mobile rogue lite deliciousness. The app store tells us it really works aswell!

The maddest I ever got about a broken mouse was one of my nicer logitech ones started double and triple clicking on one press, and sometimes not clicking at all, and when I took it apart instead of microswitches it had those garbage-ass push button bullshit reset switches. I don't know the technical term for them but that's only because they're so cheap and shitty that I would never buy them to use in a project. What was going to be a repair session became me striking the mouse with a 2.5 pound sledge until it was in bits, and I switched to Razer products for a while. Till I broke two of their mice in a year.

And I couldn't figure out how the fishing inventory worked properly. First value was infinity but I also had more values than there were fish, so I was confused.
All fishes were displayed as x0 but they did have values in my save
Also couldn't find where the pot investment values are stored. So my first pot is stuck with infinity for the dirt type.

Welp, found a new bug.
Click on an unfinished mastery, then click on the first node of a finished tree, you can upgrade it. Then the 2nd node of that tree, etc.
No real point to doing this since we can't get +100 (actually +102) of the 100 levels perk. Avoiding this glitch is recommended to maximize bonuses across the game and avoid diminishing returns.

I overflowed damage and cash at the same time due to a smithing bug. Normally overflowing damage is all you need to overflow cash, but either way I have both overflow no matter what I do.
Then came the resources. I just fixed an issue where I was missing multiple botany plants since they were infinity, and that was because my crops were infinity and I didn't refresh the screen to fix it out of curiosity. Mining is going more and more towards infinity, it's hard to refresh an ore to a normal number. Fishing is fucked and I can't figure out how to fix it. Boss traces are iffy and alternate between several quadrillion to 1, which means I'm right about there. Normal traces all drop as 1 since I exceeded 2.1b per drop. I actually can't fix this unless lava makes it larger than an integer.
Also there are multiple exp issues where about half a dozen things can't level up due to overflowing exp or something too fast. This doesn't include botany and tinkering which have a cap. Sage and Cypher are some of the strongest Agents ability wise imo. Sage's kit is super bloated (has a big AOE slow, a big fuck you wall, a heal, and a rez for ult), and Cypher is insanely good at locking down areas of a map and getting vision
