I had found that debuffs acted as buffs and reported that (it had been almost a year of it being possible per beef...)
I had a conversation with Rayzur about a lack of location validation on the server vs client.
I did not have any ill gotten gains from it but since they believed they "had me", I left and deleted my characters myself.
A conversation took place on the very first day when they added the jump puzzles.
Not worth my time nor energy. It was fun. I enjoyed it a lot.
Didn't even receive the question as to how I did it.
But since you're the only person to reach out, even to only call me a dummy.
I modified my characters x, y, z coordinates and effectively could fly. Everyone else sees the character standing still on the ground until you jump and/or move.
If you wish to pass along that information, you can. I believe there is a toggle for ACE servers on the config to turn in location validation.
Irony is that this very same issue is why Coldeve admins decided to go after me back in the day. Exception is that it doesn't change landblocks now, just the x, y, z. You can understand why I'd rather leave again as opposed to staying since the response is still far from what it should be.
