Literally every opal on one villager til you get to a certain level, then reset them (with lamp) and dump them all on another.

It means if Explorer is under 17 levels, then go all in on one villager at a time. If you want to level engineer, ALL OPALS on engineer.

Kinda. The other villagers tend to make the individual caves easier and therefore you'll get more opals from the caves to then put onto your villagers.

And in the future, you'll get a ton more opals and you can eventually do the Spread strat where you put like 10~20 opals on everyone and the rest on one (ideally Bolaia since they're an "infinite" villager and will always gain benefit from more levels)
