Something I had to write up previously that seems relevant:

There are no caps to how many boosters you can have saved up, but they consume as much as a run costs.
Default: 1 booster per run
Happy Hour: 3 boosters per run
First Happy Hour of the week: 20 boosters per run

There is a prayer that doubles the amount of boosters consumed to give you increased rewards. This would turn the above into 2 / 6 / 40

Do note: When consuming multiple boosters, you want to have one more than the required number for the bonus to properly work, otherwise your boosters may be wasted.
