You have skill eff % card set on?? Equip boss set for +12% DR
You don't need DMG for crystal farming, just crystal spawn chance and DR cards. Drop dmg, add Mister Brightside (12%) + Mimic (8%) for now.
Leveling up your DR cards to 4s that you have access to (not w6) will get you an additional 2% (mimic), + 18% (brightside or 12% if you only go 3s), +5% (w1 crystal just from crystal farming)
Also you can prob do some boss farming like basic amarok/c.amarok or efaunt/c.efaunt to boost easy levels if it'll break you through to next tier
Midas prayer you need to level and equip on DK for crystal farming. At lvl1 it's +20% but you can prob push it to +50% or higher (cap gives +118%). Assuming +50% for prayers.

This is a total of 400%+ DR.
Your owl DR is only +20%, if you go bump that to +40% or whatever the "easier" milestone that scolibot calls out, you'll be sitting just barely shy of 10x DR.

yes and no. you'll eventually want to unlock them to get to God Ranks, but that's primarily for the last w6 jade emporium bonus. If you're not there then you can take a bit of a div break until you go for 2100 lab. Granted, you still want to get someone to 50 Div for Multitool stamp
