Example of what not to do with your ships, I've finished my artifacts so don't care too much atm. but essentially you want to make sure your boats are going to islands that reach the distance within 2 hours so you're not losing on time

Don't use SB Skill "Unending Loot", Keep your Chest at the lowest rarity. Use Golden Hampters or Omni and cycle through your guys every 2-4 Hours for extra sailing procs
Try to do 2 hour trips. Go back to older islands from time to time to upgrade your Boats and I personally sent all my boats to the same Island till I reached Island 10

its all about speed (increase speed until you can do 2 hour runs on last island) until it isnt (if speed costs are getting too much start investing into loot once you can comfortably do 2 hour runs keep investing into loot and limit the amount of resources you invest into speed but keep investing as your minimum sailing time will keep decreasing with more sb levels)

Yes. Captain stats roll in this low - high and then get the same bonus every level. So a captain with 10 loot and 3 Cloud at lvl 1 has -> 100 Loot and 30 Cloud at lvl 10 -> 150 Loot and 45 Cloud at lvl 15

So you want to get a high loot value when picking a captain

1. Can you one shot moles?

More damage just makes it faster. You can do it, but it might take a very, very long time

You spend the points, remove the doubler - you're technically on negative talent points. You have to level to get them back again (or reconnect the node)
