I used 400 hours and gave up on Candy Dreadlo
We had one person who put like 1.2k in and didn't get it. And I've seen plenty of people get it within 30 hours

if everything is setup correctly then might just be a visual bug, usually happens most on dk

dont thank me thank CaMp he made the clear cut decision of DK i only really suggested SB and the others cause i knew of their skill to get more exp while active i know SB is worthwhile at least till 10k -1k because of the account wide exp boost and DR boost so you might reach your desired class level sooner

Still new to w5, got myself up to 3 boats. Besides artifacts and the unique currency from each island, is there any difference in the loot each island gives? Any island that I should focus on?

I would focus on getting to and from the islands as fast as possible so whichever has the lowest time at the farthest distance is imo the best starting.

you can focus on artifacts the only real "early" artifacts i suggest are worth this early on is like:

tusk from island 1
gold relic/lamp from island 2
Emerald relic from island 3
tablet from Island 4

of course all relics are important but i consider these kinda the "most" important early on because they boost things outside of and inside of sailing but sailing centric artifacts would have to be island 1/2/4 because that allows more upgrades and more chests to open

it also depends on how often you are checking on your sailing as well if you are checking often (once or twice every couple of hours) then i would suggest no need for the SB talent maybe 1 point just to keep the ships moving if anything and i would suggest if you are waiting for a long period of time to have the talent leveled to a decent level
