The amount of monster mats an ES can print is a drop in an ocean compared to monster mats from active ES or vman printing. There's no value in it compared to getting more atoms.

If they’re boosting lower bubbles and don’t need that many atoms it means they haven’t reached the point of needing them and will need them in the future

IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

Outside of very early game accounts with low levels I doubt skill level will have much effect on the outcome if you have an "optimal" order
