dont waste talent points on utility stuff, focus on weapon power + main stats of your class.
do alchemy, unlock your vials daily. dont forget to equip food before you go afk, try to unlock alchemy bubbles quickly.
When you have enough resources, upgrade your stamps.

When you get to a new world, or before, there's a video by "GriffyBit" just youtube "Idleon World (number) explained in 5 minutes"
and it gives you a great overview of that world, of new things and what not to forget.
If you're serious about the game use IE and Toolbox (type !ie or !it) for the weblink, then link your game account to it, it will give you a big overview on everything, very great, being familiar with those sites with be of great value.
Lastly, dont think "oh this is irrelevant it's small" and ignore the content. All those "this is small, that is small" add up together and make a difference.
PS: Dont be afraid to ask questions, especially in the proper question-world chats here. "Just got to World X, anything very important i should know"?

Also remember that Forge bars is capped by forge capacity. E.g. 1h and 100h afk will give the same amount of bars. Easy way to increase forge cap +50% is W5 citringe achievement, 5m stack in storage.

Mantra works a bit differently compared to other Divinity styles. The gains of having all ten characters on mantra will not visually show up in neither afk info screen, nor afk claim screen.
In order for your characters to get their fair share of shared exp, you start by first claiming the afk time of a mantra character. The game, upon claiming afk mantra time, will then calculate what should be sent to the rest of your characters. However, that shared exp also does not show up on the remaining characters afk claim screen, but it does get added to your divinity exp bar none the less!
The easiest way to make sure mantra is working for you is to claim all afk time on all mantra characters, and watch your exp bars on the rest of your characters go up.
(Shared exp from the bubos lab talent also works the same way! Gotta claim your bubo first to let the game know how much exp should be shared)

Recipe drops are a bit different from the other drops when you view them on your card. If the recipe is black, it means you have never picked up a recipe from that anvil tab. If your recipe is lit up it means you have found one from that anvil tab, lucky you! However, if you learn a recipe, that specific recipe will no longer be displayed at all on that monsters card.

If you have MK and in afk info you're getting 20k kills per hour and trying to farm an item, that does NOT mean you would get 1 drop an hour average. (this is excluding anything with DR, so lets say 1x DR)
