I was kinda testing the card game in gaming and it looks like clicking on non-skull cards yields better results than clicking on where skull was shown.
In latter scenario, i often got skull on first draw where only 1 or 2 skulls are seen, while in former i usually get quite far (never got skull on first so far I think)

To clarify on what I said earlier - exp is a poor indicator of account progression

The two really big factors of getting an idea where you are is sheet damage and your print sizes. If you can increase these two things, your progression will accelerate

If you're pushing w5 without multikill you're likely approaching this wrong, consider focusing on w1-5 skills (alchemy in particular) before pushing deeper

Kills are a poor way to check this. Drop rate reduces the number of kills you need, but multikill and kill per kill also don't contribute towards rare drops. ES portal kills aren't counted as kills on the death note, either.

Royal ashes are the best way to get an eyeball on the issue. They're 1000x more likely to drop than the recipe so, on average, a normal player will get it at about 1000 drops. Obviously you'll spend some on stamps, but its as close to an estimate you can get

The real problem is the rarity of the item itself. being 1/50mil drop rate, it's quite heavily subject to statistical variance. Some players might get it very quickly (like my wife)

If you just got to w5, you almost certainly need to go back to previous worlds and do the things you missed. Get all stamps, level stamps, work towards unlocking all bubbles, level bubbles, re-sample often. Stay in gods until you get goat, then send peeps back to lab for a while to be able to do 6 man lab setup

yes, w1 crystals gives the best food (hotdogs for golden peanuts) and best statues, and the food you need for gold food stamp (sandwich) so they are overall

Drop rate does affect cards IIRC and is better than card drop rate in general but you can use both if really shooting for cards.

Nah if you’re under your min atom level but close (13 and min is 15 for example) then it doesn’t hurt to play it safe and get the chance over 50% until you hit 15

DK at blood will definetely give you more pens than bubo at wurms, but either has secondary benefits. bloodbones will give a lot of obol frags, whereas bubo = CC progress (and now also keys for kruk)
Although ever since vman change i active DK at wurms, feels more beneficial

DK is good once you get orb stacks to like at least 600-700+
