I had the weirdest ghost the other day in the audio challenge
Writing and Radio
Did a hunt to rule out the two ghosts with unique speeds
Then I ruled out moroi because my sanity wasn't really draining after the spirit box
Then I was left with spirit and mare
It never touched any lights and it hunted too quickly after a smudge for a spirit
So I eventually just settled in a mild-mannered mare
But it was a moroi in the end, just strange that it didn't drain my sanity

The bone can (mostly) be where the ghost is able to walk and in rooms that a ghost can choose to be its favourite room.

If the bone spawns somewhere it's not meant to be, it may default to a specific place - CWW as an example, you can see it floating to the left of the campfire area

practice in reg lobbies at 150% so you can get used to the footstep sounds, and throw rates. unfortunately without practice at 150%, casual gamers will always guess the fastest ghosts in the book, or a poltergeist. no inbetween. lol

🤷‍♂️ depends on the map, how many objects it had access to. Every ghost has a 50% chance to throw an object every 0.5s (vs Polter with 100%), so in terms of frequency a ghost can get a "hot streak" and throw a lot

That said, Polter definitely got a big nerf when Chronicle came out. The levitation mechanic makes it much harder to tell it's throwing more often than other ghosts.

The main tells are if it burns a tier 2 crusi its next to, if it burns the same one twice in 20 seconds, or if it hunts within 6 seconds of blowing out the 3rd fire

losing items depends on 2 things:
1: if you die, you lose everything you brought, unless revived.
2: if it is a consumable, and you use it, you lose it. (if you bring it it but do not use it, like an unburned cruci, you keep it)

Make sure the writing book is covering a lot of space, Id say as much of the room as possible. Spirit box is a little iffy cause it requires the ghost to be nearby in order to answer, I usually move around the room with it in hand while questioning

I won't get used to Prison map. Brownstone Highschool map has a much more familiar layout but too many rooms and 0 hiding spots, but you can make use of bathroom stalls but make sure you're not in the LOS of the ghost or it is chasing you. Best depends on what you’re wanting to do. Highest multiplier, fastest solve, etc. I recommend loading nightmare into a custom setting and then just look at the settings and change things you’re comfortable changing. Make sure to include a cursed object because you may want to force a hunt.

(I survived the obambo)
Personally i think theyre actually some of the easiest ghosts for this except deogen is a high risk but at least you can prepare to take a photo
Oni you have to find the room but since its primarily visible during hunts it should be easier to take a photo (and identify it based on blinking)
Obambo is easier to identify through the parabolic mic and pay attention to the speed, i figured it out cuz it often switched between slow and fast for pretty much no reason

No, if the gallu steps in one salt then he gets enraged, he will be either quiet stuck at a position or be so fast he will fly over all other salt, tho sometimes he can be enraged already before stepping into any salt. He will go normal after hunt or after correctly smudging the area were the ghost is, tho to be really sure after hunt or smudge dont place the salt to close to each other, let them be a few meters apart since until he enrages there is a 2-3 sec he could still walk though, if he only walks trough once again and seems like he wont touch any salt again then probably its a gallu.

the deogen is level locked at 30 to help newer players who are getting used to hiding. But once you hit lvl 30 it'll always be unlocked to you, and if your in a lobby, it'll depend on the host's level

Keep cool and listen to its footsteps while hunting. Until you get incense, avoid it

For smudges, if you're looking to do a smudge and run, I like to set myself up somewhere I can see the ghost coming towards me for a good little bit, like the end of a hallway, and then last second smudge and run to my predetermined hiding spot. That way I can extend the time I have to look at it as much as possible and I don't have to look because laziness

guys im really confused

all 3 evidences said Onyro Freezing Temp, Ghost Orbs and Spirit Box

but to be double sure i did the Onyro test in the ghost room. the ghost blew out 2 candles quickly took a while to blow out the 3rd after the 3rd candle i waited about 10 to 15 seconds and no hunt happened???
