I mentioned this before, but I tested other heavy games on my Xbox with ease, so I am confident that it's ony happening when I am playing Phasmo. After a couple of maps, the console safety shuts down from overheating. I went through the known issues lists and didn't see my issue on there. I am up for troubleshooting/having a call, after work, to further communicate about the issue. Again, I'm not sure if it's only me or not, but it only happens when playing my favorite game, Phasmo.

On Xbox, you can't really play Tanglewood, Nell's diner, Point Hope, Grafton Farmhouse & Bleasdale Farmhouse. Because of the issue when you click to view the camera in the van or sometimes just go too close. It disconnects you entirely from the game and force closes it. I reported it a while back but it seems worse now.

The jump from Prof to Nightmare is definitely one of the biggest in the game, but the evidence part should be pretty much the same

Yeah, losing an evidence means you have to start learning ghost behaviors more, and losing the sanity monitor can be be jarring for players used to checking it.

If you're over 50 and have Custom, I'll often recommend starting with the Nightmare preset and turning sanity monitor back on if that's an issue.

Room changing on NM is Medium vs Low for Prof, but the chances are still a function of your sanity (ghost can't easily change rooms if your sanity is high). Ofc that doesn't affect normal roaming or stalker ghosts.

You can always track the ghost movement with a motion sensor. It's very useful to know where exactly the ghost is standing and you can track when he leaves the room. A ghost doesn't have to hunt from his favorite room.

Is there a reason as to why the Devs don't want people to mod Phasmo? Because I would've loved to see the mods that people created with this game!

Modifications and cheats can have an adverse effect on the game, yourself, and other players. They are capable of corrupting your save file progress, and cause all sorts of issues which we are not required to assist you with in such a case.

Any actions involving modifying the game in any way violates Phasmophobia's EULA, and if detected or reported, will lead to a Multiplayer ban.

The server and game does not support the use of modified lobbies or cheats, and will take action against anyone advertising or attempting to access them!

Why not have a separate save for modded? Or do it like DRG did, where you can have client side mods and don't need every person to install them, have server side mods where everybody can install them, and have a separate save file for sandbox stuff?
I mean if the devs wanted to wait until after their game was fully developed to start thinking about mods, that's fine! I just feel like, you know, there are ways to do it where it won't impact the game or the save files, by Creating backups

Or, even easier, make two seperate save files, one for Modding, one for Vanilla and have it where you can do what ever you want in the modding save file, but it shows the mods, the fact that it's a modded lobby, ect.
I just feel like the devs either are sabatoging their own game or, and I know this will sound rude, but they might have a fear that somebody else might make a good mod that gets more popular and is better than the actual game itself
Which if that does happen, that's perfectly fine! It gives the game alot of attention either way, so I don't see the issue with it, you know?
Modding helps keep the community alive and well for a long while, and you don't really need to moderate it as much, you just need to ping the people who made the mod when something goes wrong and you don't need to do any work besides updating the modding API

Has anybody else had the glitch on grafton where the ghost just doesn't exist? We were playing and the ghost room was the attic and the ghost hunted 7 times and we just never saw or heard it? Equipment never went out or lights flashed. It said the ghost traveled 317m and there was no object interactions or ghost room changes.
