Thats mostly just practice

On lower difficulties you get a few seconds grace period: the ghost will make the growling sound before he actually starts hunts

Try to hear those and leave as soon as you do

And always have one or two escape routes in mind

Doing some of the event and I keep getting Jinns. I was playing on Ridgeview and decided to turn the breaker off so I could fill out my media without my sanity getting zapped. Breaker was in the basement so I ran down there with my tier 1 gear, thinking I'd be fine without a flashlight. I was not fine. I can't count how many times I've played Ridgeview but I was lost in that basement for a solid 20 minutes because I couldn't see 😭 I can't tell you how many times I got hunted. The ghost couldn't find me because I couldn't find me either. I tried right wall strats, left wall strats, no matter where I went, it was like I was walking along an infinite corridor of the same wall and boxes 😭
As bad as this is, it's not even the worst part. You see, I got lost before I even found the breaker to turn it off! The light was on! It's just really dark in most of the basement and I could not for the life of me find the lightened up part
though, the light did go off once the hunts began, to be fair...
Only I could get lost in a room with the lights on

Events

• Ghost will not blink
• Ghost will appear immediately
• May close room doors, including exit doors
• May turn off room lights
• May have different sounds

Hunts

• Ghost will blink
• Ghost will appear after grace period
• Closes and locks exit doors. Does not close room doors
• Does not turn off lights (lights turn off when hunt ends)
• Has the same sound throughout the round

I like phasmo in general bc they do listen to players and their suggestions but don't give us straight up candy for days (what I mean by that is, example they listen to everyone's suggestions and put it all in the game)
