Something I've noticed nobody talks about for the Gallu is that salt trick works OUTSIDE of hunts too to identify it.

Like, if it steps in 1 or 2 salt piles, wait 10 seconds, and place more down.
If it doesn't step in those even though it's clearly had to have walked through them, it's the Gallu
