Got that with a Banshee and a Goryo today: neither wanted to do DOTs. The Banshee eventually did a quick flicker on the DOTs, and that was it. It was in Bleasdale, in the garden path between the Patio and the Back Garden proper, so I wonder if it was spawning in the hedges to the sides and that's why we never saw it, cos when it flickered it came out from the side hedge. The Goryo, in Grafton, only did the DOTs the once as well, and again it was a blink and you miss it!

All you have to do is find some jackals hiding in nests. You find them by listening to their whispers when near a nest, then shine DOTS on them. If it jumps at you, you lose sanity and the ghost gets slightly faster. If it runs away then the ghost gets a little bit slower. If it disappears then it starts a hunt.

For the badge, you shouldn't have to claim it. Leave the lobby, join a new one and check whether you have it

Points are collected for getting the ghost right, optional objectives and for finding the forest minions. All of this while playing on event maps. To find a forest minion, listen for the whispers near nests. If you hear those, shine dots on the nest

Yurei can gently close or open doors completely. The rest of the ghosts can slam doors fully shut but not slowly. Yokai test just takes practice and knowing the ranges

Yokai = Less detection range, practically deaf to voices and electrics
