guys why doesn't my spirit box work, it only ever gives off the red light that will blink like once or twice but never goes white, ive tried to use it in the training game mode and in normal games, and in these normal games both times i tried it and only got a red light..the evidence was needed? is it something to do with my mic or is it just bugged for me?

The good news is that if you're getting the red light, your voice rec is working. Just need to be in range of the ghost, have the room lights off, and assuming you're using the T1 spirit box, get a little lucky.

Just putting a message out there to see if anybody could help.
I’ve been trying to play for well over a year but end up quitting every time cause I always get caught and don’t really understand the maps or equipment, evidence too. I was looking online to see if there was a way to turn hunts off and it only says level 50 with custom difficulty which I can’t understand. Why would you be expected to get to level 50 before being able to make it easy and learn but anyway…

It does say people who are level 50+ may be willing to open a game on custom with friendly ghosts so that I could learn and that most people open it and then leave for example they themselves may have to go to work etc. so I’m just trying to find out if anybody would be willing and able to do this tomorrow or Wednesday please I would be so greatful. 🙏🙏

I'm confused. I tried reporting to ModMail and the ticket ended up closed with no resolution. sorta frustrating not being able to post codes in LFG because there are hackers and nothing is being done.

Look to do you best to get pictures of the bone (pick it up after you take the picture), cursed items, and try to see about pictures of things like writing in the book or freezing temps. And look for the 3 objectives to see if maybe a picture of the EMF is on it and if you hear it go off get a quick picture. Watch some videos on basic stuff and how to use it too. I had to do that when I first started. Its tough at tier 1 but the best thing is if you can't play with anyone else to help you out, guess and get as much side stuff as you can fast. You won't lose money and though it will take a lot of time, you will level up.

My tips would be moving all your needed items to the main entrance before actually going in, use t1 incense, make sure you have t3 salt and parabolic, and pray you have a deo

hey this might sound like a silly question, I am slightly new and not completely familiar with ghost traits

to my knowledge, Yureis are the only ghosts who can fully close the front door/exits (outside of events/hunts atleast) and earlier that had occured (no event had happened, I am positive of it as it was within the first minute and my friend said he had nothing happen) so we were sure it was a yurei but then I got UV and Spirit Box as evidence. this means a yurei is not available, however it means a mimic is. my friend said he also saw the ghost throwing a ton of stuff and launching stuff everywhere (maybe mimicking a poltergeist was our theory) so we were ready to say it was a mimic

we left and were unable to get any more evidence (mainly because I accidentally died and he was scared and we had everything maxed out) but it was a Gallu, so my only question is how on earth did it fully close the front door? again I'm not fully aware of every ghost ability and situation so I might be oblivious but that shouldn't be possible outside of event and such ?

Once you get used to playing the game on Zero Proof and Zero Sanity, do you ever feel like going back to Nightmare mode?

if you play perma 0 sanity, the easiest Onryo test is simply to repeatedly light firelights
Only the Onryo will be able to blow them out within 20 seconds of the lighting (tier 3 has weird mechanics i'll not mention for the time being)

sooo this is my first like phasmo event, what does cursed hollow do?

it'll basically change most of the maps (other than the big ones) for a temporary amount of time and they will have new decorations, creepy things and what not, like a cosmetic overhaul for each map

and in cursed hollow specifically, each map will have bunnies that you can find using the DOTS projector

these bunnies have a chance of being at one of the many egg nests scattered across the map

if you shine your DOTS at the bunny long enough, you will either get cursed (if it jumpscares you) or blessed (if it runs away)

now what exactly being cursed and blessed does, im not sure

it messes with the ghost's speed
