Banshee would have to finish its roam I believe, but it doesn't stalk the same way Phantom does.

Banshee just has a 1/3 chance whenever it long roams to do so towards its target, but it's still bound by the distance long roams can be. Phantom activates its ability and sets a waypoint at a player and walks all the way there no matter how long it is.

You don't even need to learn them all
They're related to the abilities / strengths of ghosts:

• deo - has a 33 % chance to breathe in the spirit box
• hantu - speed depends on the temperature
• obake - has a 25 % chance to do not leave UV when touches smth, has an ability to halve all active UV timers on the map
• goryo - appears in dots only on vid. cameras
• moroi - has an ability to curse players through responses on the Spirit Box or paranormal sounds on the Parabolic Microphone / Sound Recorder (if were recorded)
• mimic - always has orbs, remember this

When you try for Dayan, try find a hiding spot close to the ghost room and just move while hidden. You'll hear that ghost increase its speed.
