Is anyone else having some sort of bug where the ghosts are acting completely wrong? We just had a jinn act as a revenant. There were a couple of other rounds with this problem, but that was the most obvious example.

Ok so why are we dying in hiding spots and why are we getting camped at hiding spots dude literally every game so far they'll go straight for the hiding spot sit there and repeatedly try to open the door and when I am CLOSED IN they some how kill me whilst having the door closed

They ghosts are attracted to the energy of the equipment, either one of has something electrical still turned on, or it never broke line of sight. Either way are a tell to the ghost to know where you are.

guys im a new player and i just unlocked the photo camera, i looked at some steam forums and i have a question:
why would i ever buy a 40$ photo camera if getting all unique 5 3 star pictures gives me 50$, so only 10$ in profit, whereas if i just didnt buy the photo camera i would get +40$ guarenteed? and i looked up how much does a perfect run give and even that doesnt seem worth considering the money lost on buying all the other extra equipment?

Twins can do that, but it has to be directly on top of the cruxi iirc

I know the passive node can be far from the ghost-room and hunt by distance of the crux
but I never knew the active node could actually just ignore cruxes altogether

When The Twins attempts to initiate a hunt, it will first perform a crucifix check at its current location before choosing to have a slow (1.5 m/s) or a fast (1.9 m/s) base speed,
with each having a 50% chance. If choosing to be slow, the hunt will begin at its current location;
if choosing to be fast, it will teleport close to the area where it last interacted with the large range and will hunt from there.
Regardless of where The Twins hunts from, it will follow standard hunting rules.

this is all it says on the wiki, it doesn't say it can ignore cruxes

so it's actually the fast ghost that starts far from the ghost room

So, I just had a Gallu in enraged state moving SUPER fast. Yet, used no protective equipment as me and my buddy had none with us. I thought Jinn cayse to me there was no way it could have been a Gallu moving as fast as it did. Yet, end missiom screen said Gallu. Feels like a bug because how did it get enraged without us ever using protective equipment. That seems implausible.

It definitely was in an enraged state based off speed alone which, as I said, seems implausible from what I know and have witnessed.

Couple things - are you sure a Cruci wasn't burnt? It can be fairly easy to miss it if you're elsewhere in the map. The Gallu also as standard LoS speed up, if it's chasing you, it'll get faster. If you truly think it's bugged, then submit the bug report.

It is still a unnecessary hassle. I described the problem thoroughly. Even with video many devs have shrugged off bugs simply because they coukd not recreate them. I found that DOTS usually fails when the ghost appears in two overlapping fields
But I've seen DOTS fail in singular fields and it's not specific to the map when that happens

UV also doesn't seem to work on the light switch of the train console
UV evidence works fine by itself, but you can't take a photo of fingerprints on it

Dots can take a while, spirit box only works near the ghost, EMF only works when the ghost does something, check for freezing temps (can be a pain on a T1 thermometer), and UV

I've just spent about an hour refreshing, restarting my game, anything I could think of, but their lobby simply will NOT show up at all for me (I have about 8 pages of lobbies, theirs isn't in there).
