So from the start I had eliminated Yurei. Then all the evidence had lead me to a Yurei

yeah that's just the "doors starting open" setting being higher. It does that for that exact reason: to throw you off if the ghost did it or it was like that already.

but good job correcting course instead of keeping Yurei ruled out. Also the tell of only partially moving doors is something most players don't come across until they're playing nightmare or harder.

i've tried that, but unfortunately, it didn't help. A VPN might help, but since mine is set up at the router level, it would be great to find the voice server IPs to add them to the routing table... though that's probably not possible.

The voice issue isnt a recent broken thing. Also since the voice servers arent controlled by Kinetic games,

if the voice servers are having an issue it. It wont be under their control .

My last time I encountered a Yurei was it was on a Speedrun challenge in Tanglewood when I was about to enter the house and the ghost literally kicked me out as soon as I opened the door. Literally kicked me out the house with the door.

In smaller medium maps like Bleasdale, you can play it as it is like any small maps with thermo to find the ghost room. Other medium and large maps, you have to rely on parabolic microphone to locate the ghost. If you got lucky with the ouija board, use it to ask for ghost's location.
