Easiest way to avoid tricky ghosts is to try and learn the ghost traits, and the reliable evidences so you can use process of elimination

throw your flashlight on the floor while its on during a hunt and if you can still hear the ghost when the light isnt flickering, its not a myling. and keep checking finger prints for a shapeshift UV

We then used Ouija Board to check the age of the ghost as we noticed it gradually slowed down between hunts. It was first 40 years old and then 46. We locked in Thaye and left but the game is saying it was a yokai. Any ideas how this could happen?

Reporting individual profiles is not the solution to cheating or RMT. There will just be new profiles.
